I love the food here and also the customer service is very good. I recommend this place, delicious food :)
Great authentic Peruvian chicken place, with sides like yucca fries, cucumber salad, and ensalada rusa (potato salad with beets and peas). It's a small place in a strip mall, but definitely worth a visit.
This people is dishonest and with no consideration with the customers:Chicken and potato fries ok but bad cooking rice.I ordered two quarters of chicken with two sides with two soda cans.Dark chicken on the board says $9.75White chicken on the board says $10.50They tried to charge me without asking for a white chicken special even if that option is not on the board price $12Finally when I realized what they charge in my receipt the cashier made another receipt and gave me back $3What a scam!
Overall a good experience as I ordered online and my order was ready on time for pick up. The mac & cheese was mediocre wouldn't suggest it. The whole chicken and yuka was worth the cost, plenty of flavor. The bread pudding was dry, would prefer a moist bread pudding so I would save money there. Competitively priced meals
The chicken at Don Pollo has the best Peruvian flavor in the Vienna/Tyson’s area. We’ve ordered the arroz chaufa, Peruvian chicken, lomo saltado, and many of the sides. Overall quality of the food has never disappointed. Sauces are good and the chicken has the right flavor profile. I’d definitely recommend ordering the food for delivery. If you order to go beware of the lady at the counter. She is a bit rough around the edges but I don’t think she means any harm… just not super friendly.
Sub par dishes! Chicken was fresh but overcooked and dry - spicing was probably mainly cumin. Fries were ok, kind of soggy and not crisp. Beens were ok but nothing special - similar to buying a can of beens from the market. Coleslaw was not fresh and lacked any special taste. One wonders why they opened a restaurant where they could not provide anything rememberable?
This is my second order, the first one was good, so I ordered yesterday for my guest, the rice was not done and hard .I ordered white rice, chaufa and rice with beans, all kinds looked dried out and hard.I like the chicken but please fix your rice

Horribly dry and extremely salted chicken quality, it’s definitely not fresh. The lady in the cashier was so rude. This place needs to get it together.
It's sad but the food is not good. I really wanted to give them a 5 start. I ordered chicken stew- it tasted plain no flavor at all. I have ordered tallarines saltado- so dry and no flavor. ? Maybe really look how Peruvians cook chicken stew, Aguadito and tallarines saltado.
