I had a chance to get live chat & tandoor and many other food items for a multi course dinner with a full service option. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Thanks to Bombay Tandoor for the taste and excellent service. Am looking for another opportunity to use their service.

Hosted a party at Bombay Tandoor. The experience was fantastic. Attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Lovely location, friendly service and delicious food.
Ordered to-go last night and had no issue, the food was ready on time and easy to pick up. Delicious food! A decent portion for the price, especially compared to some other Indian restaurants near by. I will definitely order here again.
This review is ONLY for the service and bad experience NOT for the food or quality of it.There were 6 of us for Sunday buffet. Our family and friends have patronized this place on and off for 7+ years. This visit is the straw that broke the camel’s back for several reasons:1. My mother doesn’t eat a lot and she’s always gotten a la carte so she can take the balance home. This is the first time she was denied with the server brusquely saying they no longer serve a la carte during buffet hours. It’s less that they denied her, but about HOW they did it.2. NO ONE came to check on us at any one point during our time at the restaurant. I had to keep walking up to a server or vigorously flagging down someone when we needed something to the point that I even had to walk up to someone for the check.3. We split the check 4 ways and the tip of 18% was ALREADY sneakily added onto our check AFTER the total at the bottom of each check. When questioned the staff said it was because there were 6 people in the party but in our opinion that unfair and there was absolutely 0 service. We served ourselves the WHOLE time at the buffet and even had to flag various people down for cutlery and even for the check. They refused to re print the receipts.The food may have been good and even excellent but the expectations they did not properly set and poor service have now overridden our desire to further return to this establishment.
I ordered a chicken biriyani (among other stuff), and that itself is an $18 menu price. It came only with bones. No chicken.So I basically payed $18 dollars for flavored rice.
BEST LUNCH BUFFET. You absolutely have to try this place when you've worked up a heavy appetite. Best Indian food in Tysons.
Not exactly the same Indian cousin that I had tasted before, and the waiting time is almost 1:10 minutes. You guys used to be very good, what happened?
@5pm Kabil the (curly hair) bartender was very rude and aggressive. Walked in restaurant to retrieve my customer's order (like I've done in the past without issue). I acknowledged him by saying "hello!", he didnt respond back, so he continued to stare at me as I retrieved the order on the table with the customers name on it (as directed by Ubereats).After picking up the order, he boastful addresses me saying, "where do you think you are going? Let me look at the order!", perplexed by his tone and not seeing a sign communicating his actions, I ablaged his request. But, he continued to berrate me saying, "dont you just take the order, ask me first!" seeing his aggression I sumed up his mood to a bad day.I am a very kind and understanding person but I don not tolerate disrespect, so I cancelled, and the order and went about my day.In reality, Mr. Kabil could have seen my actions were due to miscommunication but he chose to be antagonistic. If the restaurant had proper signage, for the drivers to pick up the food, this whole matter could have been avoided.I hope the restaurant communicates future actions appropriately, so this doesn't cause confusion for future patrons and/or drivers.
Price for buffet is way higher than places I've been it.The tip charges are included in the bill which should be informed in advance.But the variety of dishes is less for the price paid.Taste is ok .The place is congested and if there is party it will be nuisance for other customers.
