Good bar but the bar tender was rude, she got BIG ZERO customer service. Very over priced drinks, especially whiskey's. Check the price picture-
Solid American food. Good selection too. Ordering is by QR code so we only saw a staff person once for better or worse. Outdoor seating is nice though you do hear the sounds of Gallows Rd. Would go back.
Sorry to report that this place went downhill. The restaurant switched over to a QR Reader / server only, no wait staff. So you need to go up to the bar to get yourself a glass of water, a straw, extra napkins, or whatever else you need because no one will be checking on you. Yet they still have the same prices as a fine restaurant with excellent service like Coastal Flats. I had the $25 crab cakes this evening and they were nothing more than 3 2 inch dried bread pucs with no visible crab inside. I would advised that you spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
The food was poor. I had fish and chips that were way overcooked.They did a trivia show that night, and apparently, the wait staff use that as an excuse to disappear. Our server was gone for 30 minutes or so while we wanted to get our bill. She was fairly attentive before the trivia started, but then she was gone. We had to ask the bartender to go find her.Combine the service with the quality of food, and you get a pretty bad experience.It's a shame because the place looks nice and has lots of potential. That's why they get two stars.
On a busy Sunday night (Memorial Day eve to be exact)..... this place was packed and literally one bartender made drinks, bussed tables ALONE.One guy bought out food and bused tables as well. You wouldn't be able to tell they were the only ones working. They kept moving, kept things in rotation and everyone was happy! I'd definitely come back!!!!
Such a fantastic place to eat, meet or reconnect. It's even better than it was a few years ago. So nice to see old friends, familiar faces, and meet new people. Classic Street Fighter 2 cabinet? Icing on the cake!
Worst service. This is our second or third time here, it's gone downhill since the pandemic. Had to search for our waitress to get drink refills and after 2 1/2 hours finally had to ask the bartender to find our waitress so that we could pay and leave. The food was passable but not great. The waitress was very snippy about the bartender having to find her so that we could get our check and pay.
Awesome design for a sports bar. Beer and food selection more upscale than your typical sports bar which I appreciated. Prices are still decent even with the food selections being higher end. Features a large island type bar in the middle of the restaurant. High ceilings make it feel more open and airy. Lots of screens to catch your favorite game. Service was good even on a busy night showing NFL playoffs.
Food was good, but the service was definitely suffering from CVOID. Or at least, that's me giving them the benefit of the doubt. They have a QR code to view the menu, and an app to order. The QR code would only work on one of our phones, and the app makes you scroll through all of menu, alcoholic drinks and all, to place any order. And their giant list of alcoholic drinks comes first. We asked for a waitperson, and after a little delay were obliged. Thought we might have to leave. In the end, the food was pretty tasty, and I hope that IF things ever get back to normal that this restaurant will get back to its usual great service and atmosphere.For this restaurant and all others, if you want patrons to orders via an app you need to make that experience as seamless as possible. An app that doesn't allow you to pare down the choices or doesn't take you directly to the part of the menu that you want, or doesn't maintain its location in the huge list of choices once you have made one, is just useless and will lose this customer if no others.
This place has a big side room for parties. The staff was accommodating to our needs,going the extra mile to make sure my event was fun. There is space for a dj, and photobooth. The space can hold 35-50 people easily. Very clean and friendly environment. Easy to work with. Highly recommend.
