It’s good I recommend getting the Koobideh Kabob (ground beef) it’s so much better then the Barg Kabob (filet mignon) the barg is plain, unseasoned and not worth ordering. Do try there green sause with it 10/10 also u should get half salad half rice they give you a lot and I mean a lot of rice.
During the last few days I visited the Alborz restaurant twice, day one I ordered Baghali polo with Mahichen, the worst meal I had in a Persian restaurant. Day two we had a gathering with my friends, a kitchen staff was sitting on the bathroom floor for almost 15 minutes and talking on the phone. When mentioned this to the manager he did not show any interest. Good by Alborz.
The koobideh was a bit salty. The rice was cooked to perfection and mast moosir was outstanding. The garlic and pepper dip wasn't exactly fresh. It would have been much better if it wasn't served at all.
Get ready to eat a lot of food! Chicken Soltani (1 chicken and 1 ground beef kabob) is very good and well cooked. You get a choice to get only rice, or 1/2 salad 1/2 rice. Recommend the salad rice combo as they are not cheap on the portions.Was busy on a 3pm Sunday / fathers day holiday.Park in the back of the restaurant and enter in the back.Update: 4/2022, Alborz still hasn't changed. Same amount of food, and same great taste!
My mom owns a catering and I know good food. This place is not flawless but they honestly have Great food, good sides, great price, great desserts. I think people who complain about the food here are really unfair. The food you get for the price you pay is just amazing. We really enjoyed the food. Just the waiter was a little bit slow and never checked on us which that’s not an issue to take a star away from them.
Tasty Persian food.Decent, not great, prices.But one thing I cannot understand is whenever I order the Baarg, they’re extremely stingy. You get a truck load of rice with very little meat.If they continue with this nonsense, I will take my business elsewhere.
I just got the Tandoori Chicken and rice as a take-out to bring back to my hotel. Oh my lord was it amazing. Hands down some of the best chicken and rice I've ever had. Service was absolutely on point and the food blew my mind when I took the first bite back at the hotel. I would 100% come back and try a bunch more things on the menu.
A lovely place with excellent Persian classic dishes.. We had a birthday party for my Father-in-law. The server was kind enough to bring out a delightful cup of Ice Cream and a candle. Highly recommend.
I usually get take out, the food is warm by the time I get home. Always delicious and plenty of it.Alborz never disappoints when it comes to kobideh.
The beef kabobs are juicy and delicious.
