Never been to Village Inn before but I will for sure be going back. The staff was SUPER nice and extremely pleasant to deal with. Veronica was the hostess with the mostest. "Mama V" as they call her greeted us like family and made me feel super welcomed. Our waitress, Kay, was excellent. Our entire order was correct and she checked on us multiple times. Didn't have to ask for any condiments as she brought them over right before our food came out. Fan for life.
Came here at 0730 on a Sunday expecting gruntled employees working the early Sunday shift. Was met with amazing service, excellent food, and an insanely friendly atmosphere. Khadijah, our server, was the best waitress our family has ever had, anywhere!Don’t hesitate, just do it. This place is great!
Growing up in a Restaurant atmosphere I am often highly critical of service from other Restaurants, and rarely do I have what I consider to be exemplary service. Today we made a visit to the Suffolk Village Inn as we have done a few times before. The service is normally adequate, and the food is normally decent as I often leave satisfied, However, after this visit I left IMPRESSED. Mariah, our waitress, was by far the most professional and exemplary waitress I have seen in a long while. I rate my service by waitresses on the following factors. 1. Introduction - Mariah excelled. Her pleasant demeanor and professional attitude were a wonderful way to start. 2. Memory - MARIAH NAILED IT. Most of our orders were not complicated but different, and she nailed it without hesitation. 3. Attitude - Mariah was extremely polite, friendly, professional, and a delight. 4. Service - WORLD CLASS. I was highly impressed with her care and attention to detail when we had a question or needed refills for our drinks. 5. Overall knowledge - Mariah was able to make recommendations and was extremely knowledgeable in concern to the menu. OVERALL - Mariah unfortunately can only receive 5 stars. I would happily give her 10.
The food was fantastic. I literally ordered the same exact thing from IHOP the night before and I wish I took pictures because village in tastes better and looks better! I only drop one star because the way they package there to go and putting their hash browns on top of the food is bothersome.
The staff is always so kind. They greet you and check on you to make sure all is delicious. Turkey Avocado Melt, Strawberry Crepe, Reuben sandwich and All American Cheeseburger. On Pie night!! The family loves Pie night! Strawberry Rhubarb to go!
Made our lunch experience fantastic. The young lady was busy, yet managed to remain attentive to my family. Food was awesome! We enjoyed ourselves after a beautiful church service! Thank you ?
3/2022 - free pie Wednesday! Yes please! Feeling more like home...without Ole drunk uncle fred.Generally good food and service. Though servings seem to be smaller than in the past.
Food is good, I’ll give them that. Management and employees need to be retrained or reconsidered. My order was made wrong. No biggie, I get it things happen and I made no issue behind it. You gave your word that I’ll be credited for another. I asked twice to an employee, “Are you sure that’s all you need is my name?” I don’t live in the area and came twice to receive my order. First time you claim they didn’t have it for today, “But we will Monday.” I tried again today and now , “We never said that.” So I was going to let it go, because I’m not about to lose my temper over no pot roast. But , the slick comment by the manager Dave, Davis, David whoever…was inappropriate. You’re going to tell me, “You’d be surprised how many calls we get like this.” … As if I’m trying to get over for a free meal. First off, I said the food was good not great sweetheart. Secondly, I don’t care about those calls , I’m talking about this call. Thirdly , don’t tell me I need a physical receipt in hand (when I was told I don’t) because what business don’t have a system you “can’t” look up past orders? What exactly my receipt going to prove , that your system and my bank statement can’t ?
By and large a step above their other chain competitors. Recommended for a Saturday morning breakfast before running errands. Service and food were both great.
We were a party of four, all having different things for brunch. All of us liked our meals, especially me! I had the strawberry crepes, YUMMY! Our server was Iris, a very friendly lady who took care of all our needs! We had to wait for a table, approximately 30 minutes, but it was worth the wait. I had a coupon for a free piece of peanut butter pie, THE BEST!
