I ordered spaghetti with sausage last night. My two year old child and I shared it. Both she and I became very sick soon after eating it. I called and spoke to the manager on duty this morning. She acted like she could care less. She said it never happens and she will speak to the guys in the back. That’s customer service at best for you. No apology or anything. This post deserves 0 stars and buyers beware
Sal"s is the best place for a fun night with good food!...(especially hot, juicy, delicious chicken wings!)..and that amazing chef salad plus ice cold brewskies on tap always finish a meal off nicely! Wonderful cooks and waitstaff too!! Very friendly, funny, and respectful. We've never had a bad experience here in over13 years!! This is the only place in town that we feel comfortable taking visiting guests!Sal's gets IT RIGHT EVERY TIME!
Went to Sal's Pizzeria on Main Street in Suffolk tonight for the first time. I was greeted when I walked in and seated immediately. Waitress was very friendly got my order correct and the Pizza was very delicious. Waitress came back several times to make sure I didn't need anything. When I asked for more soda she jumped on it and my glass was filled quickly. If you want good Pizza and great service at a descent price don't pass up this Pizzeria.
Let me begin by saying that I have been gluten and dairy-free for over 14 years. Today was my daughter's 17th birthday. We *just* moved here, it's a pandemic, she has no one to invite to a party she shouldn't have anyway. How to celebrate? Local pizza. Let's get to know what's available here.I regretted it immediately, because I was trapped in my car for 10 whole minutes with the best smelling pizza in the history of ever.By the time I got it home I had resolved to have a bite.And I did. And it was worth whatever repercussions I endure tonight and tomorrow.My kids also loved the pizza... my daughter's face lit up like I haven't seen in months. (Aaah, teenagers!) My son did his first ever NY-style pizza fold (after being extremely skeptical of the concept and a bit judgey over how thin the crust was. He's a total convert now.) The garlic knots were also amazing. Both of my kids are stuffed to the gills, my husband is rubbing his hands together in glee over all the leftovers he'll have for breakfast, and I'm looking forward to the next time we order from Sal's.
Ordered a large pizza tonight 1/28/22 and the crust was so burnt that's all we could taste. Very disappointed because we have had really good pizza from here before.
Pizza is the best in Suffolk and is a decent value although I swear they have cut back on the amount of pepperoni they put on the pizza the last few times we've gotten it. 20" pep is my favorite and checks all the boxes of a good thin crust style pizza. I like that the sauce isn't overly acidic. I would love for them to offer a char pepperoni option. I recently experienced this option in New Hampshire and it was unbelievable. Reminded me of the Sal's pizza but was a bit bigger, so please Sal's, if you read this, please consider it because it will be your best seller.
I have never posted a bad review but I've also never been treated so horribly. Worst experience ever! Placed a take-out order and my husband was given the wrong food which was noticed at home. Over the phone, the manager stated the person's name and the incorrect order then refused to refund the two subs out of a $60 order or even give credit for them for a different day. She required us to return the incorrect food before she would resolve any issue, regardless that it was error the restaurant's error. It shouldn't be relevant, but I live too far away to return it today with a newborn at home and can't eat the incorrect food due to allergies.My husband had even tried to eat it but found the sub to have meat of poor quality and greasy.The manager recommended I contact the third party online ordering company to attempt to remedy any problem.Needless to say, I am never returning to this restaurant and will happily shout it from the rooftops. Previously working in food service for 12+ years, I understand how quickly poor reviews faster than positive ones.Photo for "proof"

Slices are really big! Nice place to stop buy for a quick lunch and Jell-O shots before getting back to work( walking distance). Been a good number of times and service was always prompt, but kind of disappointing there is still no mud wrestling. :-(
