My coworker and I discovered this restaurant one day out walking and met the owner. We promised to come back and finally made it. They did not fail! The food, service and drinks were top tier ? I'm happy we chose this place over a chain restaurant! We'll definitely have to return and spread the word to our coworkers.Pictured is the spicy garlic honey pork chops with Mac and cheese and collard greens ?.. what was left for my left overs lol
Customer service is unmatched! They were so attentive and made great meal suggestions. They even turned the fans off because I was cold. My drink was delicious and one was enough. My food was literally steaming hot when it came out, seasoned to perfection, and serving portions just right. Quality food for a good price. I'm definitely coming back to check out what else they have to offer during the week and weekend!
Outstanding service and delicious food. Highly recommend! Clean, wonderful music, amazing staff. I was not a fan of the hash on the Sunday brunch menu but everything else was absolutely delicious. My brother got the chicken and waffles, he said the waffle was the best he has ever had. My other brother got the fish and grits, the grits were to die for. My husband got the breakfast tacos, yum. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.
The food here is delicious! I ordered a ton of food to try out a variety of my favorites. Renees has the best sweet potato fries of every had! Staff was very helpful. I will be going back soon!
Great place and the “power hour” is amazing!! Best deals in the city and the food is finger licking good. All my dates better look forward to coming here

OK guys, so I stopped in to Rennee’sResturant and Lounge for a Happy Hour visit. First impressions are crucial to one’s success.When we arrived, everyone in the Resturant just looked at us as we stood waiting at the door. We had to ask if we seated ourselves and they just kinda waved at the empty tables. We sat down with a menu and a waitress took our orders. Great selection of liquors and brands, mostly top shelf - that was nice. Drink prices were reasonable. The food menu was a little more than typical bar food selections. Upon delivery, it was hot and well seasoned, but we had no plates or dishes to put our discarded bones, etc. The food was good. I would order food there again.The problem I had with the facility was the cold, unfriendly reception. You don’t get that warm fuzzy “we’re glad to see you”, welcoming “Suffolk” feeling; It was more like a truck stop.We asked which person was Renee and one of the friendlier staff pointed her out to us. You would have thought she would have come over and said hello, as it was only a few of us in there and she had to be aware that patrons had come in. We felt incidental!We went, drank, ate and it seemed no one cared that we did or if we were ever to return. My suggestion - if you want people to patronize your business, you have to make them feel welcomed like you want and appreciate their being there. Hospitality makes even the worst meal forgivable and the good meal “Over the top”!
If you are looking for a nice place with great vibes, music, service, food & delicious drinks for girls night, guys night, couples night, just a night to hang out and meet new people, then head over to this spot. The owners, Renee & TJ, are most kind. They are personable and they work along side their staff to service their customers. This is definitely an establishment worthy of its prime location!!!!! Patronize them!!!!!
Beautiful Restaurant with great food, amazing atmosphere and great service. Very friendly place to take your family to have a delicious meal. The Restaurant is clean and beautiful. Took some pictures on how they decorate for Valentines Day. It was amazing. I will recommend Rennee’s Restaurant & Lounge anytime.
My mom and I went to eat at this restaurant for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago, and we loved it. The food was good (both of us had chicken and waffles), the atmosphere was great with good music, and the people who served us were friendly.I really hope that the restaurant will flourish and remain strong for a long, long time. Suffolk, especially the downtown area, need restaurants and businesses that are like this. Finding a good & decent place to eat has always been an issue for me, my mom, and probably a lot of people who live in the city. Also, finding a place that opens late is a hassle. We will be coming back for more.
