Exceptional Experience at Old Bay Seafood! This is a family owned business. We not knowingly arrived minutes before they were closing and the owners took their time to go over the menu with us. Very polite and caring. It was our first time ever ordering here. They gave us a free appetizer. When we got home the food was hot and amazing. Seasoned and cooked just right. Not over cooked. The oysters and crab cakes were perfect. Honestly probably the best I have ever had. We will be ordering here again. My husband enjoyed his platter too, he’s not a man that is easily pleased haha. Thank you Old Bay Seafood for the best service and amazing food.
I don't eat seafood but I stop by there n pick up dad's fish...he loves it..would recommend to anyone that likes fresh fish cooked any way I like it...and they have all seafood u could want...very sweet people
Well, I found my new favorite crab spot! Recently moved to Suffolk from VA Beach so I would drive allll the way back to get crabs from my favorite spot. Thank goodness I was lazy yesterday because WOW! These steamed crabs were amazing! The fried was good too but I only got 1 because everyone can't fry crabs lol. The place was clean and service was great. The crabs were steamed FRESH.
They used to sell fresh seafood. Apparently not anymore. Everything they have now is frozen. (I guess they’re concentrating on the seafood take-out dinners, but again, it’s all frozen.) It’s really sad considering this was the only local seafood market in Downtown Suffolk. It’s not as if Suffolk is hours away from the coast. Geesh!

The fish had no seasoning. Also the cold slaw was hot because of the food. I do not like my food touching she told me I have to pay 1.00 for each container. We trash the food. She was not rude!! I give 2 stars because she was polite.

The most greasiest breaded frish I've ever had in my life. The breaded on my croaker had to been alteast an quarter of an inch. I couldn't even taste the fish. Never coming back again..
