Went here for the first time this morning and I was very pleased. Wish I could have had a bigger stomach I would have ordered more dishes lol. I can see why this place was packed on Mother's Day. I got sausage gravy and biscuits and an omelet with hash browns. The food came out quickly although my food was kind of cold. My husband got french toast and shared some with me because the pieces were so large and it was yummy. Very good and will come back again if I'm in the area.
Second time here and it was just as amazing as the first. The service was great and food was also. The chicken and waffles are in a class of its own. DELICIOUS. I don't know who seasons the chicken but they need a raise ASAP! Tender and juicy to say the least! On a Sunday morning for a party of four the wait wasn't too bad. I loved it.
Best diner in the state in my opinion. Daniel is owner is amazing, so personable and kind. The staff are always providing the best service and I’ve never had a meal here I didn’t like. The drinks always hit and are a great price ! I’ll continue to be a regular. ?

My mom and I stopped in for lunch after getting pedicures next door. We both got the Charleston shrimp and grits and it. Was. Amazing. Soooo good. I also got a cup of shrimp and corn chowder, which was spicy and delicious. I am already dreaming about going back for more of the Charleston. I only wish there was one closer!! Seriously worth the drive and worth every penny.
First time at Metro Diner! With my man Daniel the Owner. Stop by the table with Great Humor. He worked the tables and had the time for conversation.The food was great and Jillian the server was on point. The food came to table do quick and hot ?! Me and my son was surprised because normally we have to wait 30 minutes when we eat outside but not with Metro Diner.I mean they were slammed and the still the food can quickly and hot.You got to try Metro Diner in Harbour View.The food was so much I had to quit eating. I ordered alot thinking the portions was small.Come and support Mr. Daniel st Metro Diner.

I only ate here twice but, oh, that Chicken Pot Pie. Had the Pot Roast on the second night and it was good, too. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Prices were good. Despite what the banner up above says, I ate dine-in (though you might want to call ahead to check, depending on whatever Covid variant is surging at the moment). This one's a winner, folks.
The breakfast was delicious with friendly staff and fair prices. I had the chicken and waffles which were cooked and prepared perfectly. The restaurant gives you the diner feel and experience but it's still very clean compared to the stereotype diner. They don't have the option to pay extra and get real maple syrup so you're stuck with the standard pancake (corn) syrup, but I still was able to clear my plate.
We a 30 minute wait. Buy it was worth it. Food was delicious. The wait staff was so helpful and friendly.
