I wanted to like this place. I had heard good things about it so I decided to try them for lunch. The staff is very friendly and quick and the place is bigger than what the outside suggests. I ordered chicken nachos that came out in about 5 minutes which was surprising. Most people wouldn't complain about that and I didn't until I started eating. The chips were soggy and there was liquid under the chips. The chicken and cheese were hot though which makes me believe this was microwaved. As soon as I saw the liquid I was done. I had lost my appetite. While the service was good, the food seemed to be rushed and the quality wasn't the best. For all the good things I heard about this restaurant I left unimpressed and disappointed.
This is a newer La Parrilla location in Bridgeport, which is full of good eateries & a favorite coffeeshop. This La Parrilla can accommodate all size groups and eating options: bar, booths, tables, you name it. The place is spacious and welcoming. Our host greeting was super friendly and servers were all friendly, knowledge and responsive. Their white sauce with the Chips & Salsa was really good!We had the Lunch Special #7: Two enchiladas with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and rice.The Lunch Fajitas: Tender beef and chicken, sautéed with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. Served with sour cream salad and rice or beans with flour tortillas.And lastly, the Seafood Chimichanga with shrimp and imitation crab meat filled flour tortilla, fried or soft and covered in nacho cheese. Served with rice or beans and lettuce, tomato and sour cream salad.All our meals were quick, fresh, hot, and delicious! We can't wait to return to this location! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I was truly disappointed with the service I received at this location. I arrived with my spouse with plans to have dinner with my family. The hostess never greeted us and immediately assumed that we only had two in our party and started walking us to a table. I had to stop the hostess and let her know that it would be a party of five. Once seated at the table, no one spoke to us for over 25 mins. Literally, not even a word to let us know someone would be with us. After waiting patiently we decided to leave and visit a different location. I will be sure to let family and friends know about this poor dining experience.
Very enjoyable, great food, we sat in a section that was isolated in the far left and back, which was very noisy. Would recommend, but ask to sit in the main area. Also very attractively decorated and well located.
Food was great, service was just a touch unattentive but overall good experience.

Staff and food were excellent. We had 3 adults and 3 small children in our party. All our Mexican food was amazing but an added bonus especially with little people are the amazing French fires they have. Beautifully decorated restaurant and sparkling clean.

The staff was amazing and so was the food! A perfect combination coupled with a dinner date with my hubby!
Delicious food and awesome environment. I highly recommend the Molcajete (it can literally feed 4 people)
