Called to make reservations and found that they've been closed to dine-in service for over a year. Disappointed to say the least. We have always tried to come here for a special occasion!
Great to eat in never for take out, 60 dollars later hardly any rice with our hibachi, no ginger dressing on my salad, our rolls were packaged together for two different people, and after asking for yum yum sauce we were told it was in the bag which it wasn’t, 60 dollars of zucchini was about it.
They are only open for to go orders right now. I ordered over the phone at home and then showed up to pick it up 40 minutes after I ordered it. They told me it would be ready in 25-30 minutes when I placed the order on my phone. The order was still not ready, so I waited in my car for an additional 20-30 minutes. The lady was very nice, but the steak hibachi was more sweet flavored than savory, which is not what I prefer. Not the best honestly.
The sake and sushi was amazing. Iron Chef has a small restaurant vibe, while delivering you a high quality dining experience. The sushi I ate at Iron Chef was the tastiest and highest quality sushi that I’ve eaten in years. The location is right off of 58, so there’s no need to drive too far. If you want amazing sushi, and don’t mind paying for it, this is your restaurant.
Delicious food......I had teriyaki tofu.?
Ordered ahead for pick up. Show up to pay, they gave our order to the person who just left. Was then asked to "chase her, to get your order". After that debacle, obtained our order, was violently sick that evening from the spicy tuna roll.Have ordered in the past from Iron Chef and not these are not normal expectations, but very disappointed with how things were handled, and the prices that continue to increase with this level of service.
The place is take out only. The pictures show a place where you would sit in such as glass plates etc so you drive out of your way to come eat here and find out you have to call ahead for a to go order. Hopefully later I can try the place and change my rating but sushi is a sit in meal not a take home gets soggy type of meal. It looks like it’s great food but be warned if you’re looking to come here on a lunch break you’ll waste your lunch break looking for somewhere else to eat ?♂️
Good shrimp fried rice with vegetables. Only negative is the little duck sauce they give you despite asking for more
$14 down the drain.I threw it all out. The entire box of sushi was warm. There was no shrimp in my Boston roll. The only veggies the vegetable roll had in it was lettuce and what I’m guessing was the radish it tasted awful. Please don’t not waste your money on this place.
I got both the asparagus and sweet potato tempura roll, and it’s the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the spicy yellowtail and California roll, and raved about the fried rice in particular. When we’re in the area we will definitely be ordering from here again.
