Be prepared to wait. Took about 20 minutes before we got our drinks, another 25 minutes until we received our food. The food was pretty good, hard to mess up pancakes and stuff though. I’m not sure if it was just our waitress but it seemed like we were the only table who’s food took the absolute longest. Unfortunately probably won’t be back.
Amazing service! Our server was retired Air Force and he was fantastic! Treated you just like family and brought out some delicious coffee. Been to a lot of Ihops before and never had such an amazing service like this one. Definitely want to go back
WORST SERVICE EVER!Waited two hours for two adult meals and one child. They forgot my daughters food and we had to share our food with her so she wouldn't begin to cry from hunger. Then when they finally came around I told them I am still waiting for my pancakes...40 MINUTES LATER and I decided to have them to go. Get in the car and realize they didn't even put utensils ,butter nor syrup .
Our server was Shanna. She made sure we had coffee and napkins and took our order in a timely fashion. She was great!When our food came out, it was cold. I ordered eggs scrambled with cheese and the cheese was partially melted, which tells me that the eggs were somewhat warm at some point. My boyfriend ordered eggs over easy. They were not cooked correctly and were, in point of fact, raw. The bacon and sausage on our plates were also cold.With that said, our breads -- pancakes, toast, waffle, and French toast -- seemed to be fresh, even if the waffle was cooked unevenly.
I have been to this IHOP several times and have never had any real complaints. IHOP is generally good and touts its customer service, which stands true for the Main St IHOP. The breakfast food at IHOP is about the same as its competition, and its burgers and lunch/dinner items are better than expected. However, last time I made a visit to this IHOP, I was with two friends in the evening, and it seemed as if the staff was extremely eager for us to leave. Still, the server was friendly, and we got our food very quickly.
This IHOP location is where it's at. We had an awesome waiter named Justin, we were a big group of 14 and he handled us like a pro. He was very professional, personable and really made our experience a great one! I'm sure he isn't getting paid enough for making his customers feel special. They brought our table a plate of ketchup, syrup, salt and pepper which was very convenient. (Nice not to have to ask for the basics) Food was delicious and affordable. Highly recommend this location. The music they play here is funkalicious, nailed it!
Awesome customer service. Yummy food. They took great precautions to keep things clean and sanitary. They were just great.
Great service and food despite the fact that they were short staffed this morning! The manager and other staff worked diligently to keep the place running well! Our server Brandon was such a kind, polite, hardworking young man! Our Belgian waffle was light, fluffy, and delicious. Coffee was fresh, hot, and plentiful. So thankful for these workers who were doing double duty to provide us with a great breakfast!
I ordered the French toast combo and I was not disappointed. The French toast at this location is much better than the Newport News and York County locations. The service was phenomenal too. Thanks, Shanna! We will definitely be back.
These days customer service to me is more important than the food, and the server went beyond the call. Very friendly guy and made sure our food was what we ordered and cooked the way we wanted it
