Popped in on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. The service was good. The food was delicious. Hands down, the best Oyster Rockefeller I’ve ever had was served as my appetizer that night. I will be back again for that dish itself! My snow crab legs came and were cooked perfectly. There was a great amount of seasoning on them and they were good and spicy. My friends ordered the crab burger which was huge and very tasty, as well as the shrimp and fish tacos which had fresh jalapeño and were absolutely amazing. While waiting for the food to get there, we played a game of jenga and pinball. There are several other activities such as pool, cornhole, a golf game, juke box and a giant outdoor patio. I will definitely come back next time I am in Suffolk for lunch or take the trip for dinner one night in the near future. I was very happy with the environment, entertainment, service and food.
Food is pretty good. They had someone singing OUTSIDE, we sat INSIDE. Didn’t listen to a lick of music. We were charged a “bar fee” which we were told was for the entertainment. If an establishment cannot afford entertainment the customer should not be responsible. Or at the very least, advise someone of the charge before they decide to dine. First time for everything I guess.
*First timers* Service was EXCEPTIONAL, Greeted from the start, Very friendly & Attentive! We had the Chicken & Belgian Waffles entree & the FLAVOR of all was BEYOND what I imagined! Cooked to perfection the chicken was juicy & flavorful. Waffles were perfectly cooked & Very Tasty! The Hush Puppies... they were to either to die for or kil! someone over they were THAT Delicious! We WILL be back!**NOTE** I have a SEVERE Seafood Allergy but they have 2 fryers so you Don't have to worry about not being able to have foods that are fried like the Hush puppies. I can never get those other places as they fry them in the seafood grease. BIG PLUS!
Best chicken quesadilla I’ve had outside of Mexico. They made us fresh Guacamole! We were traveling through and everyone knew it. The “fancy people in a Western Bar” type of thing. Everyone was so friendly - came up to us, said hi, wished us prayers for our continued travels. Great place, I highly recommend them and thank them all for making us feel so welcome.
We went for our first time because our friends band was playing, Mud Flap Boys. I loved my shrimp taco and my hush puppies were to die for. My husband had a killer steak sandwich with a huge mound of awesome fries. My girlfriend had smothered fries and loved every bite. Her husband was very pleased with his catfish nuggets. Our food was hot and the wait was not long. The staff was super friendly. I will make the trip out again. Nice little surprise in Suffolk.

This was my family and I’s first time. We came at 6pm. At this time no one was dining in the restaurant yet. We ordered drinks got our appetizers and drinks. 1.5 hour later waitress comes to us and says we have a lot of orders sorry it’s taking so long but will be out in a lot 10 minutes……. Another Half an hour goes by(which makes it 2 hours now that we have been waiting for our food) our waitress Julie comes over and tells us that our food was never put in the kitchen. We then are asked do we want to wait more.:.:which by now it’s pretty much a full house and that our order will be placed behind everyone else’s. By this time I was livid but did not want to cause a scene so we obviously left. Our bill was $92+ 20 tip ( that I really didn’t even want to give). My advice is next time you tell your table it’s gonna be 10 minutes you need to have actually checked since we have been sitting There for 2 hours. Should have just left it at sorry instead of give us a whole entire speech about how it’s short staffed everywhere… blah blah blah… . I understand. I am a business owner myself and know this. We paid. we left and will for sure not return.
Never received our 3 dinner entrees after being there for 2 hours. At an hr in a half we were told our food would be out in 10 minutes. Once it hit 2 hours our waitress comes over telling us that our food order never made it into the kitchen…. So I’m our way home we keep questioning why our waitress told us it’ll be out in 10 minutes if it never made it in there? it’s obvious our waitress never checked up on the order. We were given all the excuses… and paid our bill of $92 + 20 tip for our drinks and appetizers..( I almost didn’t even leave a tip because I was pretty livid with how Julie our waitress talked to us. Next time just leave it at sorry! And accept your mistake!
The waitress was amazing and quick. The food on the other hand was not. They were out of basic seafood items and drinks. Then the food came out and it was not good. Cheese tasted like Velveeta in the crab Mac n Cheese. The Oyster Po boy didn't have a good sauce and was bland.
