Fairly new to Virginia. Tried a few places but Fin and Tonic is my favorite ? The customer service and food is always great. I will continue to go back!!!
This is such a fun place to go for a unique experience. We had been to the restaurant before but we went to the ‘speakeasy’ last night. The shadowy atmosphere is almost mystical with dark, Victorian walls and romantic golden candle and crushed glass globes at each table. We felt like we had entered another world. But the fantastic cocktails were the best part. I got a smoked old fashioned that arrived with a huge smoke filled bubble on top. How did they do that?!? And it was delicious. My husband’s traditional old fashioned was just as wonderful with a perfect glass sized clear ice cube. We got a cheese plate and flatbread- both tasty with a lovely presentation. Our bartender/waitress was so friendly and pleasant. Her bartending technique was a work of art.This is not a place to go for a cheap drink and bar food but a destination location to spoil yourself and feel like you have temporarily escaped reality. And we all need to do that for ourselves occasionally.

Food was fantastic! We were in the speakeasy section, which is very cool. Cocktail menu has classics and some interesting stuff. Will definitely be back soon!
The food is wonderful. The wait staff was very attentive.
Everything ordered was delicious and fresh. Only suggestion is my beer sampler was warm (but they were busy). Every staff member was very friendly and attentive. The attention to customer service is amazing! We ordered the Duck Confit, Firecracker Shrimps, The Beast burger, Japanese A5, and Wagyu beef NY. Will return again.
If you want to go on a special date night, Fin & Tonic is the place to choose! After reading reviews we wanted to try the speakeasy and it didn’t disappoint! The rules for the speakeasy include a 2 drink minimum, 20% gratuity on everything and a 2 hour maximum stay. The food was fantastic and the drinks unique, would highly recommend for any celebratory occasion!
I've always had a good time here.Delicious drinks and food.The Wagyu beef was very tasty. I've heard the elk is pretty good as well. I'll have to try it.Happy hour is pretty good as well. I usually get an Old Fashioned. I like the way Suffolk is heading!
Food and cocktails were magnificent and we really liked our server. He had great recommendations, was super friendly and personable. Honestly the experience was a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. I 100% recommend sitting on the speak easy side. We called in advance for reservations. The food is delicious, and the drink are creative and strong! We were given a glass of complimentary champagne as well for our anniversary, which was nice.
