I picked up crab dip to go...the first picture is what it is "supposed" to look like...the second picture that looks like cat food or maybe tuna fish? Is what was in my bag..needless to say, they don't have to worry about me returning.

This is definitely a must visit spot in Suffolk. The views were beautiful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was a live band playing when we arrived. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand! Go check it out!
Great food and great service. Staff very friendly and helped my mom's husband get his Charge Card back.
I visited this place on 6/13/22 This was our first time going and there was nothing mentioned online that this place was reservations only. Luckily my uncle and sister got their early to get one for 4 when they reopened. When 4 pm arrived all of a sudden there was a problem. The hostess with the red hair acted as if she didn't want to be bothered and she informed us that the manager did the seating arrangement incorrectly and they were expecting a party so she had to check on seating for us. There was 6 of us in my party and there was 7 customers total inside. We looking around trying to figure out what the problem was. There was other nice employees who offered assistance but the girl with the red hair left without telling us that someone would assist us. She didn't say a word. After 20 minutes of waiting we finally got seated in the empty restaurant. The waitress we had was nice and patient and I want to let you all now that during our entire visit no party ever showed and only about 4 more people showed up. So for the unprofessional behavior of the initial hostess I don't know if I will ever re visit this restaurant. This type of behavior is unacceptable and we never found out what the real issue was. I ordered the seafood combo which included crab cakes flounder French fries and shrimp. I only got about 4 pieces of shrimp that was over fried the flounder had no taste whatsoever. Why is the fish not seasoned? Not even salt and pepper. The crab cake was good. The staff along with the food needs some work. Again make it known online that this is reservations only so people will know in advance
The restaurant has a great location right on Bennett's Creek, so you're able to drive in or pull up on your boat.The few times we dropped by they were only seating those who had reservations, so this time around we made sure to set one.I have to admit, requiring reservations and with the cost of menu items I was expecting a lot more.The ribeye has the option to add Crab Oscar, being from MD and growing up eating crabs my whole life I asked if the crab was lump crab to which our waitress said yes it was. I asked for the crab Oscar on the side so I could enjoy the steak and crab flavors separately. First, the ribeye had quite a few bites of gristle to the point I had to split it out into a napkin several times. Then the crab meat was ALL backfin crab meat The broccoli, did not seem to have any seasoning and could have been cooked longer (but if you like it firm and still crunchy, you would like it).The other item ordered was the lump crab cake entree. We asked how it was prepared. And admitted we're very particular about our crab cakes, so we asked if there was a lot of filler and wanted to confirm it was definitely lump crab meat. That he'd prefer to know as that would determine what he ordered as he was eyeing another menu item. He was advised to order the crab cake. One thing, I do wish we were asked if we wanted it fried or broiled upon ordering. Unfortunately it came out fried and had a bunch of filler and back fin with SOME lump crab meat :(. Needless to say that was a complete disappointment, especially when he would have just ordered something else.In terms of service, our waitress was nice, but I wish she should have a better knowledge of different crab meat when working at a seafood restaurant. We also had to wait awhile on a few requests (steak knife, lemon for water which we never rec'd, and a to-go cup for remaining wine). The latter request was a little disappointing as our waitress was near other servers when we asked for the to-go cup, while we understood she was busy the other servers just stood around or continued to sweep around our table. So we Sat there for another 10-15 mins after the request and the bill had already been paid.
Excellent food and lovely venue. Waitress was friendly and very efficient. Unfortunately the ladies who work at the check in were very unfriendly. Made no eye contact and acted as if we were not even there .
It was busier than normal but it was beautiful waitress wasnât as attentive but she did her best due to how busy she was I have no complaints I brought friends there for the first time and they enjoyed

The service and food were excellent. Unfortunately someoneâs truck alarm went off at regular intervals, somewhat spoiling the ambiance of the deck. Perhaps management could have had the DJ at the pool area make an announcement or something.
