We had an amazing meal like always. Our server Eric was fantastic. I cannot wait to come back to Northern Va. and visit the restaurant again. Nothing like great service and “Ozzie” rolls. ?
Love this place. It has been one of my favorite restaurants in this area.
Was a great family dinner time. Always love the ribeye.
This place is a hidden gem. Usually go to Jackson’s, but heard this restaurant is in the same family, so gave it a try. Well worth the trip. Very cool atmosphere, nice bar area. Outdoor seating and great vibe inside. I wanted the prime rib, but sold out early. So ended up with the pork chop. Was cooked to perfection. My server was amazing, feel badly I forgot his name. I travel to Dulles often, so will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!
One of my favorite restaurants! I no longer live in the area but when I’m in town I make sure to come by here (or one of the other Great American restaurants).Food is delicious and consistent. I was very impressed by the Field Salad. Unfortunately, salads often seem to be an afterthought but this one was delicious! The toasted pine nuts were an especially classy touch. The tex-Mex egg rolls were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The avocado sauce that comes with them is a perfect complement. The mains: I always feel a little childish ordering the chicken tenders but they are just SO GOOD. The breading on them is light, crispy, and bubbly and the chicken is moist. The hanger steak was incredible — perfectly cooked and buttery. The mahi mahi special was also great!Save room for dessert — the flourless chocolate waffle is decadent and a perfect size to share with a date. The homemade root-beer is also delicious, I rarely drink soda but always have to get it.The wait staff here are some of the best! Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Visited with colleagues. The food was presented beautifully. If you like crab cakes, they are very good here. Soft, fresh and melt in your mouth.Dessert was very good too : pecan apple pie.
Ribeye was too salty this time. And the server wasn't very attentive. Don't get me wrong. I love sweetwater in general. But my last visit wasn't very satisfied.-----RevisitedAppetizers were good but the Ribeye again was all burnt and extremely salty. Ribeye , chicken, salmon were all burnt.Crab fritters were great though. I may should order only appetizers next time.
Food is always great at any of the Great American Restaurants brands. The grilled chicken breast with brown butter sauce over angel hair pasta is their best dish. Ozzie rolls should be free.
It's easy to see why this place has so many great reviews. You really have to check it out for yourself. The menu is not the biggest in terms of choices for food, but what is on there is great quality. Great value for money and the portion sizes are suitable. The staff are friendly and are prompt to tend to your table to make sure all is OK or if you need anything. I didn't know before going but on the brewery menu, 10 of them are brewed at the same time. Which makes sense as there is quite an extensive list of brewed beverages on the menu. The facilities are very clean and not too close together and a nice open plan atmosphere where you can see the bar and kitchen in the centre of the room.Would definitely make this a to go to place when I stay near here again.
We sat on the covered terrace for a late lunch. The server was EXCEPTIONAL and the food was great. Didn't love the Spinach and Artichoke dip- the corn chips tasted stale. But the Salmon was to die for and the sautéed spinach was fantastic.
