Positives: Amazing staff and good quality sushi. Service is quick. The selection is phenomenal: lots of different options to choose from sushi, to entrees, to sides.Negatives: On two separate occasions, we've had to ask for new soy sauce bowls because they were dirty. The hibachi steak is hit or miss with how dry the meat is that day.Overall taste: 8.5/10. Four stars. "Great."
I have been here several times, who can pass up all you can eat sushi. Be sure to manage expectations when going, since it’s all you can eat. That said everything I have tried is good; such as yellow tail jalapeño, black pepper tuna, rainbow roll, orchard roll, Richmond roll and volcano roll. There is a higher ratio of rice to fish, so you will get full rather quick.
We were so impressed with Sushi Queen! Since we moved from a sushi-rich town (San Diego) to deep south Georgia last year, we've had no good sushi except the sushi we make ourselves. Finding an AYCE spot while on vacation, with great quality and value, was perfect, and if we ever visit the DC / VA / WV area again, we'll be sure to visit again! Our waitress, Olivia, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and the service was so fast. Our orders were accurate (even with modifications and substitutions), the food was tasty, and the variety and value were fantastic! We had a wonderful experience.
$23.99/ person isn’t worth it since they charge extra $2 for 3 really tiny pieces of sashimi. Nothing outstanding. If you come as a family paying the per person charge + other additional charges such as drink and sashimi, you can actually get the good quality sushi/sashimi elsewhere. Our host and waitress were very attentive and the food was quick. For that, I might consider going back for weekday lunch since the price is more acceptable.
This my first time being there and eating at a sushi buffet. Excellent food quality and Perfect customer service. Employees really care for their customers.
Very rarely do I run across a buffet that you can just sit down with a group of people and not have to have people jumping up and down all the time in different intervals to go get food at the buffet line. I was fortunate to have one of my family members bring us here and it was much better than one would expect for a Buffet. First of all the server came early on and asked for appetizers, entree’s and side orders. We definitely had a diverse group from kids wanting chicken nuggets to others wanting exotic sushi. Not once did we ever need to get up or leave our seats to get anything other than to use the restrooms which by the way were clean. The quality of the food was what like one might expect at a more upscale non buffet restaurant. We particularly liked the Hibachi Shrimp or Steak. The shrimp prawns on a stick were also amazing. So much made to order sushi just was so fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the price.
If you want a good amount of sushi for a good price, this is the best place to go. A wide variety and the food itself is always good. It tends to get packed, especially on the weekends.Don’t expect the best service, it takes a while to get a refill and if you ask for hibachi a specific way, you tend to get it wrong. The service itself is where it’s lacking but understandable since they’re always busy and on the move so I won’t lower the rating. But if you’re going to food, don’t let the service set you back.
This is a nice place to eat.. Great atmosphere nice set up and an awesome crew that provides an excellent service. Food here is delightful and every time I go I leave satisfied. If you have not already been to this place you don't know what you're missing out on.
Wow this place is great. Unlimited sushi that is made to order (and includes speciality rolls) is the dream and this place delivers. Everything we had was great and the staff was friendly.
Sushi was great! Seared tuna was okay
