We used Shalimar to cater our daughter's birthday party. The food was delivered on time. The guests complimented the food and variety. The food portions were more than enough. We had quite a bit of food left over. The food tasted delicious. We would definitely use Shalimar in the future for catering our events.
Sharing my experience .In hindsight I realized "never order entrée from a restaurant which serves same dishes on buffet. You are setting yourself up to be served left over from buffet"Ordered two chicken biriyani on 6/4 Saturday. (Owner) You can verify the purchase (Martin Saturday 6/4 2:10 pm ).The chicken biriyani was dry like it has been sitting out uncovered exposed to air for hours. The rice dried out. No raita served. Absolutely no flavor, no taste. Its basically white rice mixed with left over chicken curry thrown on the flame to heat it all up. And chicken meat tasted bad that I couldn't eat it.Your biriyani made it to the top 3 of the worst tasting food experiences.Anyways thanks for making my biriyani experience a memorable one.
This restaurant doesn’t understand proportions nor customer service. For new owners they are setting their new stance very poorly. Called to complain about the chicken tika being too spicy and they justified it.*update*As you can see below is a clear example of this establishment in denial of their lack of quality and service. Still justifying and not finding a solution to retain customers. There is a reason this place is a 3.8 star reviewed. Do yourself a favor and never go there
This place USED to be good but NOT anymore, would NOT recommend anyone to go here. It was NOT a busy night. Many food items were watered down and lacked flavor. The naan was so flat and undercooked. Management ignored our complaints completely. They had the audacity to overcharge for a buffet during Ramadan.
Hello Everyone,I would like to start by saying that once again Shalimar Charcoal Kabob has done a great job for catering.I have been going to this place for many years (15+) now and they never seem to disappoint. I have used them for multiple weddings (300+ ppl) and the food and service has always been on point.I placed an order for an iftaar dinner me and my wife hosted for our family and friends. We ordered Channa (chick peas), chicken karahi, tandoori chicken, shekh kabobs, chaat (app) and Kheer. Every item was delicious and all we got were compliments for all of our guests.They were on time with my order and they pre cut the naan as requested.A+ as always.If you haven’t been here or ordered/catered from them before, I highly recommend them for all your needs!Even though the ownership has changed, people don’t understand that the chef and cooks are still the same!Omar Farooq keep up the great work!

Great food! Super fresh and very reasonable portions. My only complaint would be that we ordered everything mild and it was extremely hot!! My heat tolerance is pretty high but, this was at another level. Still very delicious but just extremely hot.
Checked Tikka is bland. But well cooked. Need to up their game again getting uptrend. The boys at counter was hospitalable and helpful
