My wife and I hired Maison Culinaire to cater our wedding in April of 2020, but the initial COVID-19 outbreak forced us to postpone our event. Long story short, we were never able to have the wedding we planned, but we were blessed to learn that we'd be expecting a baby girl this Spring. Chef Sus was very flexible and understanding. She helped us shift our food-only wedding catering contract to a full-service food, linens, chairs, tableware, wait staff, etc coed baby shower. Everything turned out perfect and her food speaks for itself - from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. She even set up a hot coffee bar for our guests to enjoy. Pro-Tip: Order the lamb lollipops. You can thank me later.
My Fiancé and I hosted a holiday gathering this past season. Sus and her crew were absolutely amazing. That evening they all worked together seamlessly like the gears on a clock. NOTHING was overlooked. Sus had previously provided pictures of her serving dishes and I was able to incorporate all of them into a spectacular table-scape whilst they set up the food. I have catered many events in the past and her food was the best I have had. Any one of the dishes could have been served at a fine dinner, and completely unlike any 'normal' catering food. Sus is very organized and there are no 'hidden' costs. We had a vast, and lovely, menu from which to choose. It is now the end of January and our guests are still talking about the food at our party. I am very hands-on when it comes to entertaining. I like to control every aspect of it. Sus made me so comfortable during the planning, and the subsequent execution. I recommend her and her crew 100% for whatever type of event you are hosting. Food and ambiance are such a huge part of the success of any party. To have guests still commenting months later is a testament to the quality of her food, and the professionalism of her staff.
Sus did an amazing job for my 40th birthday dinner! She came to my rescue after a different chef cancelled last minute due to covid. Sus worked with my desired dinner theme and her food was amazing. I highly recommend her.
19 Feb 2021 UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW - I was contacted by the owner very quickly about my original review. My wife and I have tried two meals - Chicken Francaise & Chicken Provencal. Both meals were amazingly good. We will certainly be back for more. To the owner - the customer support and quick responsiveness are very much appreciated. Thank you!!********Tonight I surprised my wife with the Valentine dinner for two from Maison Culinaire. I wish I could give it a 5 but I can't. The portions seemed a bit small but the food was very good.The problem comes with the glassware that was included with the Valentine meal. I wasn't expecting super expensive stemware but thought it would at least be unused.As I was getting everything ready. My wife turns to me and says, " there's lipstick on my glass. I was so embarrassed.When it comes to the food, I can say, we will try it again in the future but I think I'll pass on any special occasion meal.
We purchased the Valentine's Dinner for two bundle and were not disappointed with anything we ate! It was a 5 course meal including cocktails, so a wonderful amount of food for the price and everything was delicious. Would definitely order from them again!
The food was wonderful. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the five course meal and were surprised to find that there were real glasses, two champagne glasses and two wine glasses, in the package. I would definitely order from them again.
The food was exceptional. The sauces truly complimented the cuisine. I would highly recommend.
Enjoyed a 5 course Valentines dinner delivered to our door and beautifully wrapped with explicit instructions for heating each course. The cost including wine and champaign was reasonable and the food was very good.

I learned about Chef Sus/Masion Culinaire through word of mouth from a friend, who learned of Chef Sus from someone else....good news travels!! For me, the one who takes great pride in preparing my family's southern holiday meals which, they anticipate/eagerly look forward to me making the week or so leading up to the holiday; I was quite apprehensive to turn over the responsibility to someone else. However, on account of the very favorable "word of mouth review", I decided to place an order with Chef Sus. Our first order was Christmas dinner 2020 and I'm telling you our Wild Caught Maple Glazed Salmon was OUTSTANDING, along with the other meal courses! Ordering our Christmas meal from Chef Sus afforded me a very relaxing holiday dinner with my family. Meaning, I was able to soak in the day right along side my family instead of being in the kitchen listening in all the goings on. Our dinner order included instructions for heating up or meal( which was super simple, less than 10 mins) and instructions for plating our meal for a beautiful gourmet presentation. I called and spoke with Chef Sus to personally thank her for the outstanding Christmas 2020 dinner and to relay what it meant to me personally, to be able to provide the wonderful experience for my family. Right away in speaking with her I felt her grace, humbleness, attention to detail, and passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. Since our Christmas meal was such a success, I decided to surprise my husband with Chef Sus' February Valentines Day Dinner for Two! My husband was delighted to hear I had placed another order. The Valentines Day Dinner for Two...was exceptional as well. Love that Chef Sus took us from the beginning to end with our dining experience -- we enjoyed a delicious five-course, fine dining meal with cocktails and wine!! I'm already looking forward to my next order w/Chef Sus.
