Just ate here. The drinks were pretty good and our waiter was nice. However, the website says half of margaritas which a sign on the outside confirms, as well as 3 dollar tacos. We came here specifically because we knee about this deal on Tuesdays. The menu does not specify which margaritas are half off or which tacos are 3 dollars. Our waiter never mentioned the special. We ordered the margaritas and taco platters. I understand the platters not adhering to the special price, but it would have been nice to be notified beforehand. And we were charged full price for all margaritas listed all under the same margarita section. Apparently only the lime margaritas are half off. We were informed of this as were were paying only because we asked. I also understand it was pretty busy, but honestly the service in the beginning was very slow. Will not eat here again.
The best taco restaurant in Sterling hands down! I haven’t had a single thing I don’t like but the El Jefe and Farmers Market (vegetarian) are my favorites. I also love the Trio appetizer with salsa, guacamole, and queso - all three are amazing! But the best part is definitely the margaritas! I always go with the margarita flight because I can never choose just one option - the mango, lime, coconut, and cucumber are some of my favs. The staff is also amazing and so friendly. You can’t go wrong here!!
Ordered takeout from Local’s tonight and was sorely disappointed. The food was meh and the value for the money is not good. We ordered an Americano taco for $5.50, a carne asada quesadilla for $15, and steak flautas for $12. The taco was greasy and rather flavorless. The quesadilla was literally one large tortilla folded in half, so 4 pieces, for $15! We asked that it be meat and cheese only, but they included everything in the box and spread the creama on the top. It was dry, and also rather flavorless. The flautas were probably the best thing we got, but the menu advertises 6 flautas for $12. Nope, it was 3 flautas cut in half. And the avocado ranch that was spread on the top was unnaturally green and looked very off-putting…almost like cupcake icing.Also, they have a track your order system, which I was monitoring. I went in about 5 minutes ahead of the pick-up time when the tracker still said preparing. Nope. The order was done and bagged and sitting next to an open window letting in a cool 60° breeze. Needless to say, dinner was less than warm when I got it home 5 minutes later.
Ordered a 3 taco bundle - spicy shrimp, grilled lime shrimp, and grilled tilapia - plus rice and black beans for $19.75.The best one was the spicy shrimp! I finished it too quick before realizing that I wanted to take a pic of the order.Next would be the lime shrimp (right) and then the grilled tilapia (left). These two had the same toppings, so just different protein. I found the tilapia to be a bit flavorless and bland, but the lime shrimp was adequate.The spicy shrimp taco had a green sauce drizzle that tasted fine, but the color was really funky-looking. The best way to describe it would be a shade of green-blue that won't be found in the natural world. But, hey, it tasted just fine.I think next time I'll just order 3 of the spicy shrimp tacos, like they were that much better than the other two!
I ordered delivery from this restaurant through GrubHub last night and holy cow, the tacos are so incredibly delicious. Braised short rib tacos are to die for. Can't wait to get to eat in person.
Our new favorite place!! Holy moly the food is great here!! Service, drinks, food, all incredible. They have a great thing going here. We got queso, a burrito and some tacos, all of which were phenomenal!!!! We will be back very soon.
We've ordered from this restaurant numerous times and have had no complaints. However, tonight the nachos were below par. No guacamole. No sour cream. And some weird blue green concoction from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.The nachos used to be smothered with greatness and now it's just disappointment and sadness.
Best Tacos in the area. If you're thinking about getting a dessert too, the Cajeta is a must.
The tacos and burritos here are great. Take out drinks is a nice option.Takeout Fajitas were disappointing. Only provided 4 street taco tortillas so nowhere near enough nor big enough to take advantage of the fajita toppings like lettuce, cheese, peppers, onions. The guac that came with my order was not edible, very brown color to it, not fresh.
Combo Fajitas and the chicken burrito was good, they close at 10pm on Saturday and if you get there little before 9pm you will be rushed to place your order in 15 minutes
