The pupusas were good. I recommend those! I would skip the nachos, mostly because they use canned nacho cheese. Horchata tasted like they use real milk instead of rice milk. I probably won’t be back but did want to give a fair rating for the pupusas and fair warning about the nachos.
Love mis pupusas de arroz, and their carne azada, the tacos are fantastic! Please give them a try you won't regret it.

Great pupusas and horchata. The tacos were super tiny. I wouldn't get them again. The atmosphere was too loud for me. I won't be dining in again, but it's good for take out.
Sopa de Res is my go to when I've had too many cervezas!!

La Promesa has the best pupusas around this Sterling area. My favorite pupusas are made in Los Chorros located in Maryland, but since I’ve been in VA for quite some time now La Promesa is my new favorite pupusa place.I definitely recommend them. You must try the chicken pupusas! Apart from the food the staff is friendly and I love the music that plays as soon as I open their door!
