The cake and cupcakes for my son’s first birthday exceeded all expectations. The cake was beautiful and exactly as we’d pictured it. Jim at Edible is a creative genius! The customer service was very responsive and they were happy to work with us to change our order when needed.
We are from out of state staying in this area for a medical trip. We wanted something sweet one evening and found this place. From the time we entered the building, the man working was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He explained what type of cake each they had was, and never made us feel rushed. At the end of our selection, we were insure about one cupcake. He went ahead and gave it to is to try as a "treat on the house". His kindness and willingness to help us made him gain a 5 start from the start. All the cake slices and cupcakes were great! If ever in the area again, we will be stopping by.
I called this establishment because I need a decorative cake for the cutting ceremony at my wedding. I explained that I need the top layer to be real and bottom layer to be fake, as this is strictly for cutting, and I will be working with a local bakery on sheet cakes to serve my guests. I can understand that they say they are unable to make fake cakes. I just don’t understand why there were immediately rigid in their decision and didn’t even try to work with me. I would be willing to pay the same rate as a real cake of the same size, but the gentleman on the phone seemed in a rush to get me off the phone and didn’t care to take my money. He also stated they can’t work with other bakeries due to the possibility of it affecting their reputation. While understandable, I doubt his business would be negatively affected by a bakery with a reputation like that of Paris Baguette. People know Paris Baguette and they know the superb quality that comes with their cakes, but they unfortunately do not make decorative cakes. You, as a local independent establishment, have more to prove in competing with a national chain like Paris Baguette. Working in this kind of business, maybe work on your personal touch.
Robyn and Alan were so great and so nice. You can really tell that they love what they do and are passionate about it. We had a wedding cake done by them yesterday and honestly, it was absolutely beautiful and tasty. They were very accommodating to everything we asked for and executed it perfectly.Robyn and Alan, if you are reading this, we just want to say thank you SO much!! You guys were so great and we can't wait to contact you in the future for our baby shower!
5 stars is not enough! Edible Incredible is not only the best cake I’ve ever had but has the kindest owners! Robyn and Alan are so passionate about what they do. They did this beautiful 90th birthday cake for my mom! Robyn put so much love into this cake! She worked with me on designs. I sampled lots of the flavors with my mom. They made us feel so special! I’m forever grateful for all they did to make this birthday unforgettable!
So happy to have chosen Edibles Incredible! Our venue changed multiple times and they were so considerate and helped pick out all the decorations and design from just listening to some ideas I had. I'm very indecisive and they were able to turn my ideas into reality. We ended up having our wedding 8 hours away and the cake held togetber beautifully and arrived full decorated and ready to go.
I love their cakes! I've been going to their location in Reston for years. I wish they were still at that location. My favorite flavors are amaretto, almond, caramel, and lemon. They all have just the right amount of sweetness. The texture is moist and dense like pound cake. All the cakes I've tried have been delicious.
Edibles incredibles did an amazing job on our baby shower cake. Jim was amazing to work with and he made my vision for this cake come to life. Not only was the cake adorable but it was delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough!
We used Edibles Incredible for our wedding cake and they were AMAZING. The tasting samplers for their wedding cakes included three full size pieces of cake, which were all delicious. On our actual wedding day, everything went great and people raved about the cake. And there were delicious leftovers!
Average dessert AWFUL service! This will be my first negative review of my life and I use Yelp all the time. It's not shocking that after our negative experience you see negative review after negative review regarding the service here on Yelp. I called in the hopes of having a conversation regarding an order and I was met with lawyer talk which I must admit is pretty shocking when it's regarding a wedding cake. Needless to say, for a very average cake, the service was shockingly unprofessional. Each person has to make the individual decision of how to go about planning their wedding, but we have lost a lot of luster of our one year anniversary due to the unreasonable response from them to a very reasonable request.
