For the main we got meatloaf with three sides, — green beans, hash brown, and steamed broccoli.Meatloaf was great. Broccoli were also cooked perfectly, — not too soft, not to hard. Hash brown was good, but green beans were way overcooked.Watermelon lemonade was good. And peach cobbler finished the feast.Service was rather slow, despite the place was not too busy.Overall, very good.
Good version of the Cracker Barrel. If you need a bite before heading to Dulles International or after landing this is a good choice.Fast service with standard Cracker Barrel fare.
I went to Cracker Barrel for a pick up (2) dinners. I had tried to order online and messed it up so I went inside when I got there. The employees and manager couldn’t have been nicer. They were great in getting my order fixed and then turned in. The problem was with the order. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken with two sides. I got one side. The second order was fried chicken tenders with three sides. The sides were correct but …The chicken tenders and the fried chicken was so overcooked that you couldn’t bite into it. No lie. The breaded crust was a very dark brown and the tenders were all shrived up. No juice in the chicken at all! It truthfully was like cardboard. I had to throw it all out. Terrible! I have never gotten any bad food before, but I sure did today! ☹️
Live around the corner and wanted to try something. Oh may I wish we had went somewhere else. Corn muffins were burnt, Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes was cold. I had to fish nuggets and two pieces that made one piece. Fish was not bad. However the okay things were the water, hot chocolate and the okra.
I have been to better Cracker Barrels. To be honest, this one ranks kind of towards the lower end for me. The food itself was good, same as any other CB. The service, however, was rather lacking. We stood at the host stand for around 8 minutes while a younger guy was there. He looked at us, we told him we were a party of 2, and he looked back down at the screen and did not talk to us. A younger lady came by later and briefly swapped places with him and also did not acknowledge us, but when we asked her if there was a table available she said "sorry we're in the middle of something" and walked away. Eventually the younger guy came back and took us to a table, but all in all it took around 11 minutes from when we walked in.I understand being busy and not being able to accommodate people immediately, or having some sort of problem come up - that's not an issue. But it would have been nice to be told that, or even be acknowledged. The frontend staff's communication with us was poor - never offered and barely reciprocated. They honestly just seemed young and unaware that we couldn't hear what they could in their earpieces, so we never knew what was going on.Our waiter was quick and attentive, friendly.
Everyone pitches in to serve the customers. Managers do cooking and check on service. Food was hot and tasty.
Kaitlyn was a amazing server, the food was great. It has a huge parking lot where plenty of people can park. I actually deliver cargo across the country, and when I came out the food hit my stomach and I passed out in my van and no one bothered me.
Food was mediocre. Fried chicken was nice but ordinary. Catfish was okay. Biscuits and cornbread were actually quite good, coleslaw also. Side of pinto beans sort of fell flat. Trying to pay with the QR code on the table was a non starter. Took us to adverts and then tried to push the Cracker Barrel app. Waiter dropped the check without asking about dessert. They were sweeping up, pushing chairs in and out behind and next to diners, sort of annoying. Staff was otherwise perfectly pleasant and helpful.
really nice hospitality the staff was great the food was outstanding I would recommend this place to anybody our waiter was really nice always asking if we were ok and the young cashier guy with the wild hair he was awsome we got a kick out of him great personality
I've always enjoyed this restaurant. I was in the area today and came. We had to wait 45 minutes-I'm assuming sure to staffing shortages. I asked to sit in corner by window so I could see my dog in the car. The hostess told me there were no servers for that section. I was seated in crowded section with the screaming kids. Yet, when i look over there -people are sitting there. I don't appreciate being lied to. That section is quiet. Why do i want to sit with families and kids. We are adults.
