I have visited this restaurant quite a few times. The location is good and place is clean. The food tastes pretty okay too but the prices and portions are insane! For almost a $12 adult bowl, you get 1/2 cup of cooked rice with 4-5 chicken pieces (nugget size), very diluted gravy and 1 tbsp sauce!!! That's it! And if you ordered greens as the base (which my husband did), then good luck. You will still be hungry after the meal. The sauces used to be free along with lemon wedges and chopped onions. Not any more. 1tbsp of sauce is $0.35. Agreed there is an overall hike around the world, but hey places like Cava and Chipotle haven't cut down on their sizes!!! Bummer!
This place was very very overpriced, for a very little amount of food. Every one in my family left hungry. They wouldn’t even let us get a refill on drinks we paid $3.50 for. Wraps were very very small and light, and were $10. The protein bowl had only three small lamb meatballs on it. Would never recommend nor come back to this place. Our $66 would have been better spent elsewhere.
This is the Taco Bell of Indian food. It is ridiculously overpriced. I don’t know I’ve ever paid so much for so little food. I love Indian food but between the prices, small portions, and less than mediocre food, I will never go here again. If the food was half the price, it still wouldn’t be a good value. Go somewhere else.
Absolutely incredible Indian food! I went here with a friend who said the Indian food was authentic and spicy. I didn’t notice the spice that much, but I wasn’t sure what to expect because the exterior looks kind of like a chain. It was so good! I almost drove 30 minutes back over there the next day to eat there again. It was that delicious!
It's carefully hidden around the corner from many other restaurants. Clean place and good Indian food. Don't get their yellow hot dip, unless your accustomed to fire breathing or have suffered damage to your tongue that has rendered you incapable of taste bud sensations. Or you are masochistic.Just saying.....On a positive note, power was out at my apartment, but the blaze from my tongue not only lit up my apartment, but also heated the place to a steaming 85 degrees! Was able to eat the leftovers today and it tasted great. Not the hot fiery lava like the night before. I will eat there again....but not the yellow dipping sauce born of volcanic demons.
Hotel interior is look nice ! We can say Indian style chipotle. Little pricey. Chicken variety have better taste. First time menu selection will be hard but restaurant photos can help you.Street parking is also available but hard to get. Enjoy the food.

I love this place! Choolaah is cool and beautiful place for quick Indian lunch. We had Paneer Tikka bowl and Samosa chaat. Both dishes were prepared freshly and delicious. The staff are very nice and helpful and the place is always clean. I Loved the Spicy mango and Mint chutney.
This is one of worst Indian restaurants in the area. Used to be a way better but too much watered tikka masala served (never ever try to order one) and samosa and sauces are really bad. We also ordered tea which is really bad and they chare $4 for just tea. Too pricy as well. $24 for 1 meal and samosa and tea...very bad.
The food here is good, but portions are way too small for the price. They used to give good portion sizes, but now not only did they raise their prices they give less food as well. Feeling disappointed. I hope they adress this.
