We were visiting from out of town and went here every morning! The treats and drinks are delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the location is very cute. They have creative drink options and were very willing to accommodate any requests. I wish I had this coffee house back home as well!
This place is a five star every time I visit. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, always with smiles on their faces. Everything is made quickly and I love how my coffee turns out the same each time. Bonus: The quiche is delicious!!
Every time I come back to Stafford I cannot wait to go back to The Grounds! The latte is amazing every time (Try the oatmilk latte WITH lavender!) and the quiche is also so tasty. Everyone is so sweet and I love coming here to work.
Absolutely phenomenal! Not only is the coffee and food amazing, the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I come all the way from Woodbridge to grab a coffee and work. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE ❤️ AND SUPPORT THIS AMAZING ? Small Business! My favorite, is the the Mocha and Crusted Quiche..they are absolutely delicious ? I’m always greeted with such beautiful customer service…you know who you are!!!Today…the owner took the time, at a very very very busy time, to hear some feedback I wanted to provide her as I’ve been coming for about 3 months now and once a week to show my monetary support… I cannot say enough about how GREAT SHE IS & her Son!!! I wish I could come every day but know that me and my GSD appreciate and love your mochas and pup cups the most!!! You have Starbucks and any other coffee shop in Stafford beat!!!Thank you ? again for all you do and today just made my day even brighter! See you next week ☕️
I am an university of mary washington student and I've been student teaching at the middle school nearby. Wanted to try something new. This place is amazing!
I don't frequent coffee shops, but was needing some caffeine the other day and had been wanting to try this place. Was not disappointed. White Mocha was fresh and delicious, blueberry muffin was great, staff was knowledgeable and welcoming, place was spotless and nicely decorated.
I love The Grounds! It is my favorite local coffee shop. My favorite is the blueberry cheesecake white mocha. Ordering is so easy with the app, I never have to wait long for my drinks to be ready. The customer service is beyond exceptional. Every employee I have interacted with is a kind, friendly and helpful person.
4:30 is not a well thought out closing time, very inconvenient when the traffic on 610 can easily make you miss that time by a minute. Being closed on sundays is also pretty inconvenient. I really enjoy the coffee and service here but hardly get to them because of their hours. I’d also argue that peet’s regular coffee of the day is on average a lot tastier.
