The food was excellent. Probably the best Mexican I've had here. The Margarita was super tasty. Will definitely be returning.
I have given this place 3 chances with different dishes and it’s just not good. There was NO flavour. I also tried their horchata and it had a weird and not pleasant flavour. I won’t be returning here. The service I receive is fine but the food is terrible l.
I really tried to give this place a shot? I knew they’d be busy because it was Cinco de Mayo but it was beyond ridiculous. We had to flag down a waiter to place a drink order, had to flag them down to actually get our drinks, to place our order, ask for silverware, get together containers and to get our check. It was a 2 hour experience I never want to experience again!
The food was bland and my dish was very greasy. The service was very slow and we had to go in search of the server to get our check. When ordering our food, I pointed to my youngest child and said "he wants to order the chicken tenders." The server asked "1 or 2?" I assumed she was meaning how many tenders. I was wrong. She brought him 2 kids meals.

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. My boyfriend ordered enchiladas for me and he got the carne asada. He said that the steak was dry and had no flavor. He had to cover it in steak sauce to make it edible. I ordered beef enchiladas and it wasn’t ground beef or shredded beef like I’m accustomed to. It was beef chunks and it was not flavorful. I couldn’t even finish it. It’s sad that the refried beans was the best part of the meal and that was watery like soup. We will never eat here again.
This place doesn’t even deserve one star to be honest. I started ordering from here since we moved from SoCal two years ago, the food used to be amazing but idk what happened. They changed owner or management or something because neither the service or the food is the same anymore.I have always ordered delivery and this afternoonI ordered with uber eats, asked for a chicken torta cubana, I received a very stale steak instead and an over priced tiny taco.Never again, just completely disappointed.
My favorite authentic Mexican place here in VA since I moved from New Mexico. Love the owner and their food!
We have ordered from Ricos Tacos Moya three times and aside from the first time, it has been disappointing. After our first meal in November, which was delicious, the subsequent two orders are just greasy and flavorless. We have ordered tortas, flautas, chimichangas, chips and salsa, and churros and they all have the same old oil taste. Additionally, the frijoles are soupy, like just bean water with a couple of smashed beans in it.
Most conflicted review I have ever left, truly hope this was just an off day for cooking staff. Ordered Tacos de lingua and Carnitas … then a Al pastor and a Carne asada Torte. The tacos were perfect … the tortes not so much. Brown avocado, beans and meat were tasteless, lettuce looked old as well. Not sure if we will be back but if you go, I would stick with the tacos.
