I was searching for an authentic Mexican food place, came across this place. My friend ordered 6 Taco Asada, I ordered Taco Pollo with bottled & carbonated water. Tacos tasted good, we enjoyed eating them. However the bill was a bit of surprise; it is an awfully pricey place.The restaurant inappropriately charged $2.00 for one Costco bottled water, significant profit margin. The price of the food ought to match the quality and quantity of the food served, it was a disappointing experience.
We've been in northern Virginia for 2 years. I've finally found good Mexican food!!! The chorizo is so good and their Tacos are even better.
Margaritas were awful. $9 a piece and they tasted watered down. I told them about it and they said OK. I asked for limes to make it taste better and only got 1 at a time for each drink. The Molcajete tasted fine but only had 4 corn tortillas. I needed 1 more to finish my dinner and was told I can only get an order of 4. When we received the bill it was $1.95 for the extra tortillas. I felt like they were operating on the cheap. The tacos were good though. As you can see from the owner's response. He just doesn't care about customer service. He calls me an alcoholic because he didn't properly mix the Magarita. I said it lacked taste meaning it didn't have enough mix I did not mention alcohol. Wow can't believe he called me that. Then he says I can't afford to eat out. I can but I only wanted 1 more tortilla. judging from the owner's response i would NOT go back or recommend this place. I asked the waitress for her recommendation for a light lunch. She recommended a couple of things and I chose the Sopes, they were crisp on the outside and tender on inside, the pork was very flavorful and the sour cream was not your typical sour cream. Truly an authentic Mexican dish very well made. Looking forward to taco Thursday. Thanks
Had a really good time here. The staff was great. We enjoyed our waitress Margie. She was very attentive and made us feel welcome. She have a great personality and is customer oriented. She is a keeper.
