I really wanted to like the meal. The place is really nice. The music was great. But this food has nothing to do with Mexico. It was Salvadoran food inspired by Californian-Mexican down to the chimichangas and the poorly executed street tacos (which should always be corn). The food was super salty. The beans were done Central American style--in the blender. The avocado was rotten. There was sugar in that mystery cream sauce. If these people are actually Mexican, I'd be surprised. And then I'd be certain that they didn't learn how to cook in Mexico.

The food is Horrible! It’s no better than a sit down Taco Bell with a bar. All these Mexican restaurants have the exact same menus with the same worn out food. No more Mexican Restaurants please!! They are a dime a dozen. I refuse to eat at any of them!!!

I grew up in Arizona and I know what real Mexican food taste like. This restaurant has very nice decor and ambiance. You can enjoy a meal with your favorite people for sure! There is a really nice outdoor patio also. The Mexican food isn't up to par, though. I got a taco salad and it was more like bean soup with a little lettuce and cheese on top in a fried tortilla bowl. If you order an enchilada and a burrito, it's basically the same thing except one has a flour tortilla and one has a corn tortilla. Not impressed. However, this place is very busy all the time because the prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant is pleasing to eat at.

This place is a hidden gem. I have been traveling monthly to Stafford area for a year and tried about all the options around but always skipped here thinking American Mexican food would just be ok. It is actually very good. The chips came out thick and warm, the salsa is definitely good but this white sauce is amazing.I had a margarita that was ok but the burrito Mexico was excellent.Highly recommend here for a solid dinner.

Went in for dinner. Got the #22. Cut into the burrito and took a bite. When I did I had a piece that I couldn’t chew up, when I spit it out it was a big piece of plastic. Spoke to the manager and she acted as if it was no problem.

Great food... good prices... service was good.

Great place for lunch dates, work lunches and parties. The prices are very reasonable and they can accommodate larger groups. The menu has lots of good options and the food is always fresh and delicious. Their chips and salsa dips are always tasty and fresh.

I ate here on my lunch break for the 1st time and enjoyed the food. I had the Burrito Texano and changed out the verde sauce for cheese sauce. I also added quac and sour cream and the quac was awesome as well as the salsa for the chips. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my burrito was supposed to have fajita chicken, steak, and shrimp and only had 2 shrimps. The other complaint is I like thin chips and there's were thick. I did not try a drink because I was on a lunch break but I honestly I see why they get a good amount of business, the food it good.?

Waiter was great. We were a table of 8 at the end of the night and he got everything on point. Great team, great job.

Great atmosphere, Great customer service, but Food is not what used to be. We were customers since they open around 2006 or 2007, back then food was amazing, authentic Mexican food! Owner was on site running the business. Through the years flavor and food preparation was decaying slowly. You know what I refer to Mr. Gallardo.Today hit the point that I ask my wife: was the restaurant sold? new ownership? The tortillas tacos were cold, so cold that they brake apart when I grab the taco (for the one that don't know, corn tortillas don't brake apart when warm). I'm the kind of customer that don't return food to the kitchen, I assume that they are professionals and they cook and serve the food as they should be.Mr. Gallardo, If you still the owner come back to business. We decide to not to come back again.
