Do not try to place a carry-out order: dry lo mein, undercooked egg rolls and no sauce for my sweet and sour chicken. That was a terrible experience, they got nonsense excuse for their mistake with bad attitude when I drove back for making a refund or changing my food. Since the commodity price has inceased due to covid-19, I understand the way you changed the food price, but in exchange for the bad quailty of food and attitude.4

The spice level has to be just right. Not enough and there is no flavor. Too much and my companions won't go with me (spice wimps).They had just the right amount. My companion tried the combination lo mien and said that the flavor was a little bland but tasty enough (they like Thai Town 56 on Route 3 in Fredericksburg).Basically if your on the north side of the Rappahannock then you can't go wrong with China Wok. If you are on the south side of the Rappahannock then you must visit Thai Town 56 in the Harrison Crossing shopping center.

I used to come here often, wayyyy back when they first built this plaza, but haven’t been here in about 12 (or more) years and while shopping in the area, decided to stop in for some carry-out. They were easy to order from (via phone) and quickly made my order, as it was ready when I got there 15 minutes later. When I arrived to get my order, I asked for the hot chili sauce cups to go with it (I had two entrée’s, etc… thus food for two people) and they only gave me two of the very small cups. When I asked for more, they said they were $1.00! WTH?!?! This, combined with the way the Egg Drop Soup tasted is why I probably won’t be going back. The egg fried rice was decent tasting, even though a got a couple of pieces of gristle, which I find gross. The soup really was watery and had hardly any flavor. So, for $45+ spent on lunch to-go for two people, to charge for more than 2 chili sauces is absolutely ridiculous!
Should have read a the review about the portions. Called in an order of chicken wings. They came in a tiny bag...had 6 tiny wingsettes and was almost $9. Never again. All the good chinese places are closed on Monday or I would have drove to another place to get more wings.
I am a huge fan of Chinese food. I have never tasted General Tso's Chicken so divine. I fully expect the food in Heaven to taste like this. I highly recommend China Wok.
