So It all started with my 1st visit to El Pollo Campero in Springfield Virginia, first of all I want to say Kudos to El Pollo Campero for bringing the Franchise to the states,before 1998 the only way to savor the taste of home was to find out when my brother in law was coming back from El Salvador to bring me some Campero Chicken with out first filling the entire plane with smelly aromas of fried chicken from El Pollo Campero and making everyone on board hungry,with that been said there are the ones that say that it is not the same as the one from back home, but that is just a personal opinion,"Popeyes Chicken is Better for me"any ways that is not wha I'm here for, I recently got a receipt from Campero register that prompts me to take a survey in return I could get two ( juice, tasty, finger liking good pieces of chicken, well the chicken is not to die for,since the survey link doesn't work,I.'m interested on the level of costumer service than anything else, if Campero is going to compete with the bigger chains of fried chicken they are in for a rough ride, of course as long as they have a market they will be okay.So my first experience was when I asked for a fork and the person bringing the order looked at the other person on the register taking the orders and they both looked like... hey is not my job right.!! well I ended up with no utensils, having to scoop my coleslaw with a chicken bone I had just eaten,the second experience is that I placed an order of Grilled chicken the Lady behind the front counter said to the guy at the register we have a hundred grilled prices if he wants more, we all laugh at the comment... well they brought regular fried chicken,well i waited a very long time for my order, I had to go to the restroom when I came back my order was not ready yet,I assumed that my name was called and my order was ready it was just that my name got called once whileI I was in the restroom, and that was it, they did not call me a second time or 3rd time if needed,i don't want the two free pieces of chicken I just want a better costumer service, because even the survey link doesn't take you to the correct site to claim you two tasty pieces of Campero chicken.....please adjust your level of costumer service not everyone visiting your stores are Central American Costumers that are used to low quality of service that keep coming back for more just because that is what we are accustomed to.thank you,your very dissatisfied costumer....
We ordered at 2:45. Order said it would be ready at 3:05 & we got there around 3:10 & were told it would be ready in the next 5-7 minutes. I was handed my order at 3:35. This is ridiculous.
This place was terrible we came in with a large family to have some to eat after a long Trip when we get there there was couple of tables available but they wasn’t cleaned all trashed everywhereThere’s was like 3 employeesWe had to clean up 3 tables in order to eat therea employee came out to clean up after they saw us taking pictures of the messI definitely don’t recommend this place at allDon’t waste your money
Staff does not appear to understand almost anything I said to them. Tried to cancel an order that was mistakenly made and they only were able to understand the word "order." The staff then hung up on me.
I was craving some latin cuisine. I ordered: Empanada trio, Yucca Fries and Fried Plantains! It was all so good! Great lunch spot and wasn't busy when I arrived, by the time I left it was getting busier.
The food here is horrible. It was cold and the food was burnt. When I ask them to make a fresh they told me that is was. The lady was extremely rude. She started to speak bad about me in Spanish to her other coworkers, but they didn’t know I speak Spanish. Maybe because of the color of my skin I look African American but I am Hispanic. It’s a shame that I went through this. I’m making sure to tell everyone I know about this place. Also, I was reading the reviews just now and I noticed this isn’t the first time. Something must be done.
This location used to be very good. They cheated on our food twice. Tonight is the second time! I ordered 3 deserts and they only gave me 2. They sealed the bag right off when they give it to me. I should have known it! I called them on the food they immediately hung up. I called back and they never picked up the phone. I'll never go back to this cheating place!
Food was great BUT the second time we ordered delivery from their website they only brought the sides- no chicken or empanadas. Tried calling for 10 minutes before giving up and driving in. No apology, denied even having the order then when they found the (now hour-and-a-half-old) food on a shelf somewhere, they genuinely insisted we take it. Are you kidding? We had to argue for fresh food, wait another 20 mins & of course they only gave us the chicken and empanadas which were missing but wouldn't offer fresh sides.. So all in all we paid over $60 for a family meal and sides + delivery. We received our food in 2 locations, 2 hours apart, and got to pay not only delivery fees and tip (LOL) but also gas and tolls. No Bueno. ?
