I have been to this place for various family outings. The food is always delicious and the wait staff are on top of their jobs. Mike’s American’s staff have now set a new standard of what my family expects from other restaurants. I also love the warm bread and honey butter. It is a challenge to not eat too much and be full before the entrée.
Great Food and attentive staff. We enjoyed a quick drink in the bar and then headed to our table. Enjoyed the hot fresh bread and the community bread basket donation when ordering. Enjoyed the Monday soup special of Tortilla soup, Monterey Salad w. Spiced Pecans, and hubby enjoyed the BBQ Burger. My only regret is not getting the warm white chocolate bread pudding.
It is really ok. Typical American food like the name says. Bar setting and table service. It is loud. The majority would enjoy, however I prefer a more personal service experience, where servers don't fly around and it takes forever to flag them down. I visited specifically to try the bread pudding, recommended by a friend. In the end all of us were let down by the bread pudding as it was of inconsistent quality. I guess it happens.
Great menu and well prepared food with generous portions. The service was great. Had the Southwest chicken salad that was super.
This restaurant is a multi storied full function kind of bar and grill. This place is huge and it is packed - testament to the quality of the food that you are getting here. This place features tons of seating, full bar, excellent table service, interesting decor, and a wide menu focused on traditional fare. I went with the prime rib, which was cooked to order. No real surprises here - just a good cut of beef cooked to order - really mouth watering good. The overall cost was above average but so was the environment, the service, and the food. Definitely recommend this one!
Great atmosphere with Excellent Food. Was looking for a local restaurant while in the area. Reviews recommended Mike’s American. The atmosphere, Devore and especially the food did not disappoint. The only drawback is it does get crowded and parking can be difficult to find.
Wanting to try this restaurant for months, but it's always packed.After making reservations, I now understand why this place is so busy.Everything was so amazing. From the design to the food. Everything was above expectations. The waiter even suggested that I should get my salmon, blackened. That also lived up to the taste!I have no complaints. Everything lived up to the hype. I will be back.I'm going to keep my review short so you can make your reservations!
Everything was excellent. Exceptional service from our server. Even though it was packed our food came out very quickly, and was prepared perfectly.
This is a great and popular place. Great entrance that’s uniquely different than your typical restaurant. The service was great. Our appetizer was mistakenly not placed so the manager comped it and still brought it out. Great customer service. The food is amazing ??. The drunken steak was so flavorful. This place offers bread baskets and the bread mini rolls/balls are the best. They are light and warm and heavy at the same time. The pork chop was juicy and flavorful as well. Definitely one of the best restaurants in this area.
