It's a bopping place. Be sure you understand the specials etc A BLACK BOARD ON A BACK WALL has tge specials. Also happy hour ends 7 for drinks and 8 for food. So I overspent for a glass of wine,$10.50 9,Oz pour. Wine is only on happy hr Wednesdays as well. Just pay attention and ask questions.

There is reason this restaurant has been here since 1981.food was great!!! especially french onion soup and primerib steak.It taste perfect. and felt somebody very experienced people cook this.
food was excellent! Especially prime rib steak and french onion soup.It tastes wonderful. considering the fact that this was prepared by really skilled individuals.
The fried catfish sandwich and sweet potato fries were perfect. Bonus points for having Amstel Light. Excellent service. Was also surprisingly lively for a Monday night.
I've eaten here several times and never had anything bad. Definitely recommend the Prime Rib

I just arrived from Miami and some old friends invited me to this bar. We were sitting in the patio outside. We didn't have a server, so we had to go inside to order our drinks from the bar (not too big a deal). We got a last call warning from the bartender and we all ordered our last drinks.The next time anyone came outside to check on us after last call, was a server come out demanding us to leave immediately. "Ok YOU GUYS HAVE TO LEAVE, WE ARE CLOSED" in a very rude and aggressive tone.Barely 60 seconds later, a man (can't refer as gentleman) came out with the same energy, telling us we have to LEAVE. We still had out last call drinks, we were just talking and catching up. Nobody gave us a warning at all. We asked the man if he was a manager. He said yes he was the manager. My friend expressed that it was an inappropriate way to treat his guests. He responded by saying "ok yeah, heard" and proceeded to force us out. I have never been treated so poorly in ANY establishment in my life I was still in shock after leaving that we were treated in such a manner, especially with one of us being a regular. I will never step foot near this place again after such an experience
I visited this restaurant for the first time a month ago for dinner but returned a few days ago for happy hour. Dinner was good. On this last visit I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, medium. When it came out, it was well done and dry. But when I told them of the mistake, they immediately fixed it. Service was OK. Sometimes they were very attentive, other times not. I had a great time though and look forward to returning.
