Our party of eleven was celebrating a birthday for Sunday lunch. The staff was accommodating to move and set up tables on the outdoor patio in the shade. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our group ordered a wide array of meals - from brunch menu omelet to fajitas to salads. All were served professionally Margaritas are huge!! I recommend!
The food is good and the service is wonderful! We've been there a handful of times and even though we always have a different server, they've all been friendly and helpful. They have this amazing spicy green sauce that I keep forgetting the name of but it's so delicious! My son absolutely loves their steak laredo and always cleans his plate whenever he orders it.We're originally from CA and it's not the same as what you'd get in CA so definitely don't go in expecting that. But the food is delicious in its own right. We'll definitely be going back for more.
Great Mexican restaurant! Food was fresh and delicious! Place has indoor and outdoor seating. Good atmosphere inside. People are nice and friendly. Portions are big. Give it a try and you will love this place!
12/15/2019We moved out of the area for two years. This weekend we are visiting our son and wanting to take him out for lunch I asked him what he would like. He said Mexican Food. After a quick search in the area we found Dos Amigos. It is right next to the Cosco (easy to find!). I asked the waitress how long the restaurant has been here she said since April 2019. Atmosphere is great. Layout of the restaurant is wonderful. Nice solid wood tables. There is one large TV for sports. But you probably want my thoughts on the food. We had three different meals and all of us loved our meals! The waitress was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be returning the next time (and many times after) we visit our son.
Great quality food and great selection. You can get the traditional "combo" platters like most but they have many dishes that are unique and full of flavor. The restaurant is large with a large outdoor seating area and have never had to wait to be seated even at it's busiest times. I've also ordered door-dash nervously but it was packaged with such care. The sauces were on the side so things didn't get soggy, sitting inside of a box so the driver didn't toss it around too much. This is my go to place for Mexican. I'm obsessed with their chicken enchilada soup and fried ice cream.
Read the reviews and had to give it a try. Total waste of time and calories. This is a gem that should remain hidden. The food is over priced, over rated, and over cooked. My wife ordered chicken enchiladas and I ordered the fajitas just so we could have a variety to sample. The disappointment ensued. Some say the rice is surprisingly seasoned. I guess they grew up eating white rice. The rice was seasoned like all basic Mexican rice. The beans were nothing special. We tried both black and pinto beans. There was nothing surprising about the food. The chicken enchiladas were average. Had enough sauce , but lacked cheese and seasoning. Still not sure why there is ranch in the sour cream. The fajitas were over charred (what I call "burnt". The shells were over heated and hard, the lettuce and tomatoes soaked in a ranch sour cream. There was hardly enough meat 7 thin slices of steak and chicken. Onions and peppers were burnt and disintegrated on the pan. The guacamole was good, but not worth the price. The service is typical at best. We waited for 40 minutes for the below average over priced food that some call a "hidden gem". If this is a gem I would describe it as a cubic zirconia. Shines like a diamond on the review sites, but when you look closer it lacks value and worth.Think twice before you drive out of your way to this place.
Great Mexican food, yummy Margaritas, large menu full of choices. Guacamole was made fresh, and served in a generous portion. However it had too many raw onions in it for my taste. Chips were nice and crisp. Service was good. We ate there on a Friday during lunch, and they were pretty busy. Restaurant is located on the ground floor of an office building across the street from Costco. It's a large space with lots of seating. Decor and styling is very basic. Colorful painted walls. A few sombreros and art on the walls, but only one step up from a fast food place.
My first time having Tex-Mex for breakfast. It was fresh and delicious, good customer service.
We had eaten here a few times and enjoyed the food until we had a very disgusting experience. We started eating the ceviche and found a really long thick black hair entangled in the dish. We notified the hostess who told us sorry but didn’t offer to replace it or provide a partial credit for this now-inedible food. She just said that it won’t be an issue the next time we come back to eat. We will never go back.[In response to business’ reply]Yes, it was at this location when the restaurant was fairly new. Back then, ceviche was on the menu.
Their crispy ground beef tacos were great. The food was fresh, the rice was not old. The place is clean and great service.
