If you are a fairly distinguishing person on taste and quality, you won’t like this Chinese buffet at all. It’s probably the worst one I’ve been to so far. But there just aren’t any Chinese buffets in and around VA-MD to choose from unfortunately. I just had some of their hot and sour soup and some broccoli, then I went to Burger King and had a double cheeseburger. And that was my dinner today.
This place is amazing lots of varieties to choose from ive tried so many buffet restaurants here in the east coast. By far this is one of the best. They have pho, sushi, hibachi, salad bar etc. plus desert sesame seed balls, ice cream and fresh fruits. With drinks included on price that is $4 less than other buffet restaurant. Oh i forgot i wish they have crabs but i know its not season yet. The staff are amazing on trying to clean up after yourself. Which is the job they have to do because its a buffet restaurant not a regular order menu sit down place. This will be my go to place now every time im in town and i will bring my co workers to try their food. Keep up the work blue pearl buffet. Nice to see that there is still a family own buffet restaurant open.
Do not come here. I’m done trying out buffets like this. I left having been traumatized. The sushi options are very lacking and the other dishes are just lackluster. Everyone who works here looks like they hate their lives and are unhappy. By the end of my meal I’m enjoying my ice cream and I look at my spoon and find red spots. I’m a very anxious person and I can’t help but think that it was blood so… either I was bleeding from the mouth from something I ate or some blood got into the ice cream. I am traumatized by this and I’m scared either I’m going to get hepatitis or something from someone carelessly bleeding into the ice cream tub or I bit into some glass or something. I wish I paid cash because I hate seeing this business in my bank statement. I wish I never went. It ruined my day and I think may have ruined my life. Don’t support these stupid buffets where everyones lives are miserable
Great selection of various foods, a variety of fish, steamed, fried. They used to have crabs on the bar but they did not have any at his time (could be seasonal). A huge variety of Chinese food, steamed buns. They also have sushi as well as a Pho bar. Good selection of vegetables, desserts and a variety of food for the whole family.
We actually liked the food and selection at this buffet. It’s not a huge restaurant but the food choices were good. Service was also prompt and the food was being refilled soon as it was half empty. Maybe because of the weekend. We have a good experience. There were a few soup options and Pho and grilled food options. There was sushi as well. The restroom and the restaurant was clean. There was also ice cream.
The selection is pretty small don’t be fooled by the sign that says over 150 dishes outside the door. The food was cold and rancid. the raw chicken breast at the pho bar looked like its been sitting there for hours. besides that the staff was nice at least.
For a Chinese buffet, this is a pretty good restaurant. The beef noodle soup is actually better than the pho served at many of the area's pho shops. It's got depth, flavor, and it's all you can eat. Just don't expect fresh slices of raw beef or bible tripe. The fried shrimp is also more fresh than at other buffet restaurants, as is the fried rice noodle. I won't try the sushi here, but the vegetable or imitation crab sushi should be safe. I would give four stars if they bring back the dim-sum style tripe and chicken feet, both of which were as good as you'd find in a dim sum place.
I have been a couple of other Chinese buffet places but this one is nothing near them. The bathroom is not clean and the food is not of good quality. The noodle bar is not very inviting and the sushi is of inferior quality.
Not a bad lunch spot. Very authentic cuisine. Personally I did not care for the shrimp to be unprepared with the head stil attached but it was authentic. Plenty of options to chose from and worth the money.
I found this place while travel nearby. I never thought that it would be so incredible. I am so satisfy with my family . My kids love it. Staff were so friendly and kind. Sure there was a big smile behind their masks. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Beef pho soup was delicious. I totally recommend this place . ? God bless this business. ?
