What happened to BGR in Springfield?! It used to serve up good food with friendly service. Now the restaurant in filthy. Our feet stuck to the floor with every sticky step. The counters were greasy, and every container our food was packed in quickly saturated with the grease coming out of the food. Even the bag was covered in grease before we got home. The garlic fries used to be sprinkled with parmisan and garlic and shaken in a clean stainless steel bowl before being put into a cardboard food container. Now the questionable garlic mixture is squirted out of a bottle like ketchup in a large oily puddle in the middle of the fries. This is the photo included. The onion rings were not individual rings, but rather one large fused together lump, and saturated in grease. We ordered milkshakes too. The outside of one cup was covered in sticky, partially dried milkshake. How long had that been there?? Service wasn't terrible but also nothing good about it. Very unlike the BGR of a couple years ago. This was the first time we've been back since the pandemic. I can assure everyone who reads this, we will NOT be going back to BGR in Springfield, VA.
This place wasn't lying when they said their burgers are grilled right. My god they're good even when I got it delivered! They're one of the view places that actually knows how to cook a burger rare/medium rare. Definitely ordering from them again!
I used to like eating BGR’s Beyond burgers. But the last two times I did, I had mild anaphylactic reactions that were likely from something in the bun (this doesn’t happen with other burger chains that serve Beyond burgers). I don't know what it could have been, given nothing on the bun ingredient list lined up with my food allergy test.
Jake Reese the manager is a awesome man. I am so happy he is taking care of this restaurant. He brightens up the place when I am there.
This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I’ve been going here for years and there food is delicious! If I was on death row, this would be my final meal. The fries are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been to three different locations and they all are decorated awesomely. Every time I bring a friend here they always love the food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
It’s probably my favorite burger place. Little pricey especially if you want fries and drink. Was surprised last time I went to see that they no longer have beer. Anyone know what happened?
This is our second time visiting and it was amazing! The food is always cooked to order and tastes delicious. Customer service is on point too.
This is the absolute BEST burger place you’re going to find in Northern Virginia! Had a double bacon burger today and as soon as I bit into it all my senses fell in love with LOL Damn good burger! High quality food, REAL applewood bacon, nothing is processed. The only complaint I have is there is not a BGR Burgers in Woodbridge LOL If I want one, have to head up to Springfield. If you’re a burger guy or gal, you will NOT be disappointed with this place!
Still the best burger joint in Springfield / Burke. With the quality of their ingredients I don't know how they're making a profit. One of the few places I'll trust to make it rare. The folks working the grill always take care to deliver a quality product, and the shakes are amazing. On the very rare occasion in which something's gone wrong, management has always made it immediately right.
Food is often very good. Last night burgers were overdone for our taste. Ingredients and food are high quality.
