Shane provided great service.
This was my family and I first time eating here after coming to visit for my little brothers graduation. I have had the worse experience ever while my family ate here. When we arrived there was something crawling on the wall some type of bug disguising, after informing the waitress she asked us if we would like to move our seat as we did. While waiting on our food our drinks arrived watered down and again disgusting! We informed our waiter who took the drinks back just for them to come back even worse. The food arrived no better greasy and again disgusting! I eventually asked for the manager and I explained to her everything starting with our arrival and the bug crawling on the wall. She IMMEDIATELY became defensive stating no that’s not true we have no bugs here in our restaurant! As more family arrived my little cousin saw a spider so I asked the waitress to please inform the manager who never came back out the back to see it, but accused us of lying. We drove 13 hours from home to come here for my little brothers graduation, and I have never been to CT so it was an absolutely horrible experience for me. This restaurant and it’s food including drinks was the absolute worst and sad unfortunately that we didn’t even get to eat and enjoy our food and family, but instead deal with multiple issues repeatedly. I can only hope this review helps someone in the future as it didn’t help us any!
Took my dad and little brother here for Father's Day lunch. Disappointing experience. Not coming back!!!We made sure to come before the lunch rush. When we arrived, there were only 2-3 other tables filled. Yet after we put our orders in, we say there waiting for 45 minutes with only ice water. When they finally brought food it was our entrees. So I informed them that we haven't even been served our appetizer yet. The staff nonchalantly said "so then you don't want you're food" while giving me a look.Call me old fashioned but I'm used to enjoying appetizers before the main course. Our main waiter arrived at our table at that time just to tell us that the appetizer isn't ready. There was no explanation, no apology for delay, no acknowledgement that anything was wrong with this picture. Our option was to accept the entrees now while they're hot or continue waiting for appetizer while who knows what will be done with our food/entrees. So we took the plates.Out of the 4 dishes, 2 were decent but the other 2 tasted like reheated TV dinners. Half way through eating, they finally brought the Tuscan chicken wings and rolls to our table... again just plopped the plates on the table with no comment or apology. The wings were so dry and tasteless, they were inedible. Sad part is that those wings used to be the reason I'd want to come to bertucci's.No one checked in on us or asked us even one time if we needed anything or if the food was OK (probably because they know what the feedback would be and they don't care enough to hear it). I still tipped the wait staff 18% because I blame management and bertucci's for their lack of table service etiquette.
We have ordered from Bertucci’s a dozen times and always enjoyed the food. Tonight was a different story- and so bad that we will likely never return. TLDR: it took 3 hours to get our order and the pizza was inedible. See photo. Order at your own risk.We ordered through Grubhub and our order was delayed multiple times. My husband called to check in and they said it would not take as long as Grubhub was estimating and that they were just behind because of their BOGO pizza deal on Tuesdays. BOGO pizza deal? Uhhh well we paid full price through Grubhub. The manager was shocked to learn the discount doesn’t show up for Grubhub customers. First issue. My husband very politely explained how long we’ve been waiting and we were offered a future free pizza. Fine.More delays later our order is randomly cancelled via Grubhub. My husband calls again. They are shocked to learn the order was cancelled… not sure how that works but ok… so they tell him the pizzas just came out of the oven and they will give them to us for free if I want to come get it. Fine. Off I go to pick it up.I show up at the restaurant, which was empty by the way, except for a few people waiting for takeout. Come to find out our order is NOT ready. There was no presence from the manager. He came around to put some things into the POS system and never acknowledged any of the weary customers who had been waiting for hours. Never apologized, and never even appeared to have any sense of urgency to get the restaurant back on track. Finally the pizza was done and it was absolutely disgusting. The dough was practically uncooked yet the cheese was burned. We threw it away. After over 3 hours of waiting, we were left hungry. If a pizza restaurant can’t manage to make pizzas- the literal bare minimum- what else isn’t being managed there? Are the employees washing their hands? Makes you wonder. We’re so turned off by the ridiculous wait, poor food quality and lack of management intervention that we will likely not return. It’s very disappointing because we previously loved it. But this experience was beyond ridiculous.
Food at this location was ok-ish! Buffalo wings were really good,.. however, pizza was just ok! Server was really nice. Tables in the middle of restaurant are too close for comfort. Took 15-20mins to be acknowledged after seated BUT was seated right away due to having reservations. That was a plus! Would try a different location next time.
Haven’t been to Bertucci’s in years. Happy that we went today. The pizza was good and so was the service.

Just had a luncheon for 30 people at Bertucci's in Springfield. Food was delicious and staff was excellent. The manager Bill and head chef were very helpful in planning the menu and assisting in menu choices ahead of time. Highly recommend.
Haven’t been here in years but decided to sit in since I was in the area. Our waiter Francis was so nice and friendly we were constantly blown away at how he read minds. He made sure the complimentary bread was fresh and warm since it was a cold day and it felt like a hug for my insides.
