I was a little nervous because I don't like fried food or imitation crab but our waitress listened well. I had the Samurai Maki which was very pleasant and fresh wrapped in cucumber. My husband had the sashimi deluxe and loved his. Very well priced and tasty!

The BEST sushi in Roanoke. Santiago is a genius chef, and the whole front of shop crew really knows how to take care of you. My drink are always filled, and belly always full during my time at Wasabi. I highly recommend the Sumo roll. It’s everyone’s favorite roll, is very filling, and so so tasty. I also am obsessed with their fried ice cream. It’s the best I’ve ever had! And they have a ton of great beverage options. Their plum wine is to die for! If you’re getting dinner (no matter the day of the week), I suggest calling ahead to get a reservation. They are ALWAYS busy, and for good reason!! Always satisfied with service, food, drinks, and environment.

Have not been here in almost two years so I decided to come back because I was downtown and wanted something close. I remember now why I LOVE this place! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. They were very busy for a Wednesday night but our food came out fast and it was delicious! Loved the cold Tofu appetizer, and all the sushi and sashimi was very fresh. And the Sumo Roll was to die for! Great place great food! ❤️???

Such consistently good service, fast & fresh, tasty food. They provide & encourage sanitizing upon entry & even being short staffed they treat each customer with care. Always a perfect go to for lunch during my week. Thank you!

This is another one of the beautiful downtown areas wonderful little restaurants. But like everybody else down there they are short on staff get yourself a job here people. Good food and nice people.

Just got some simple rolls but they we fantastic. Dining room was full for lunch and had a good energy.

My first time trying sushi. It was better than I exoected. Will come back again.

The food was excellent the staff was friendly! Highly recommended for my next visit.

It was ok. Fish was fresh, but they use tilapia in there assortment of fresh fish. Im not a fan of tilapia and had to ask that it not be included in my sushi sashimi dish.

A bit underwhelming, personally. The food was pretty good hence why within a short few minutes after they reopened after closing for whatever reason that day they were packed full. All things considered, it wasn't my type of place though everything was perfectly cooked, I had their fried rice with beef, chicken and shrimp and not once did anything feel it taste over or undercooked.Though, I'm hesitant to return personally due to it being smackdab right in downtown and I really do not like downtown, but it's a good stop if you want some good sushi and other related dishes.
