Tried their tacos again recently and ordered the chili oil fried Tijuana tacos and they were okay, the tacos themselves weren't very oily. The chorizo taco is good and the puffy taco seems like it has changed since I last had it, so I will probably try a different batch of tacos next time. Their burgers are pretty good and they have $2 and $4 margs on Tuesdays as well.
It was our first time there and loved it. Everyone was welcoming and down to earth. The food was delicious and not badly priced. They have music and games on weekends so I plan to come back and relax in that patio area.
Had lunch here and ordered the veggie platter. Food was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was super friendly and clean. Server was so kind and patient while I tried to navigate the menu as a vegan. They even brought crayons and coloring book for my little one. Definitely will be back.
We went today for a late lunch/early dinner for Mother's Day. We were seated immediately and had our drink order taken. We ordered appetizers which were all fresh, hot, delicious, and arrived in good-sized quantities. Delicious deep fried pickle spears, mozzarella sticks, and loaded cheese fries. Our entrees were all fresh and delicious and showed up quickly. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, and the bill for six of us was much lower than I anticipated. Great spot in a cool part of town. Highly recommended!
Their queso mac 'n' cheese is delicious. The sandwiches and burgers are solid, and my family loves the fish and chips. In the summer the patio is a great hangout spot, and drinks are cheap. To-go orders are quick and easy.
I enjoy being with friends at VG but I do think the new policy regarding seating isn't always right. The other night a group of elderly people were made to wait next to the table they were going to be sat at. There was open seats available and they were only waiting on 2 additional people of their total of 8 guests. Sit the 6 old people down and don't make them stand up for 15 minutes waiting on 2 people.
Great local place with great food and staff, always a good time.. variety of food and drinks for all.
We eat at this place with friends pretty regularly. They have a great porch that is inclosed and heated during winter and some games on the other side. The food is good and the staff manages well, even when the place is pretty full. It's also located in the grandin neighborhood which has a number of fun things within walking distance.
Taco Tuesday night is ??? ! You just keep ordering them and they come out quickly. $1.25 for basic taco (beef/chicken.) Then they have specialty ones up to $3 each. My wife loves the chorizo one! A simple place with great food! Friendly service too. When I sat I wanted to see the tv and the waitress asked if there was anything I wanted to watch. Very thoughtful!!
I've been all over this year and this was the best burger and fries. The burger had so much flavor. The fries were perfectly crunchy. Quick service. My glass never went dry.
