We came for lunch, the meatballs are premade frozen mini meatballs. The pizza was reheated, the salad was typical bagged salad, the lasagna taste like chef boyardee. Chicken carbonara was tough dry chicken and didnt have much flavor. Service was good and it was clean and nice inside though. Waitress told me everything was homemade in house but theres no way. Those meatballs alone taste EXACTLY like frozen grocery store meatballs.
Sal's has a lunch "buffet" for $10. The food is not sitting out.....you order from a menu that includes the available selections and the server will bring up to 3 choices at a time. The food was good....better than if it had been sitting out. I left very full! Our server made sure we had everything we wanted. I'll go back.
Food was okay, but service was Horrible. It took over an hour for us to be served an appetizer and two dinner salads at 6 PM. We watched many others be seated, be served, and eat dinners before we got anything but bread. Never Again. 2nd time we’ve been disappointed.
Met for lunch. The food was hot and delicious. The service was great. It was good Italian food!! Will be back for sure!!
The staff is very friendly and willing to satisfy what ever your needs. Food was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Not only can you get a Starbucks cup of coffee in this Bonsack Kroger but now you can have pizza or chicken too!I love it because if I forget to eat lunch before I go grocery shopping now I can grab a slice of pizza and I'm good to go!I say shopping on an empty stomach is bad and you'll spend more money, but not so with all the choices you have inside this Kroger!
We’re traveling and looked for an Italian restaurant close to our motel... we lucked out; This place is a hidden treasure. There were about 6 people ahead of us but they moved them through quickly. The server was friendly and attentive without going overboard. I had chicken piccata which was really, really good. Husband had Stromboli and really liked it. He asked to leave all of the vegetables out and they were happy to oblige. Wish we had a Sal’s where we live.

Family had lunch today and several different items were ordered Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was great!
Ok have mixed feelings so will start off with the good. Food was very good on everything we ordered. Price was reasonable and place was clean. Knocking off a couple points for this reason. After we finished the meal we were sitting around talking. Place had lots of open tables so it wasn’t like we were taking up space. We received our bill so paid for it and continued enjoying our visit. When we asked for a refill of our drinks (just pop and sweet teas) we were told since we had cleared our bill she could not give us refills without charging us again. I really felt like ordering the drinks and taking it out of her tip. Most restaurants give out unlimited refills and even togo glasses . The idea of stopping service just cause we paid our bill put me off. They just lost a future customer over the few pennies for the refills and get a 2 star review
