Good hotdogs but not as good as they used to be. Drive thru can get backed up pretty quickly during lunch rush to the point where the line is out of the parking lot on the side street and people will STILL try to cut the line, oblivious to the fact that the line is on the side street and a gap is left to allow passing cars through and is not an open space but that’s no fault of the restaurant.Prices are also a bit high as is anywhere else these days….2 hot dog combo is now just shy of $10, used to be like $7 or 8. Staff could be a little more friendly…I understand that they are trying to get everyone through the line quickly but a smile and friendly tone goes a long way.
This place used to be a pretty decent spot for a quick lunch. Unfortunately the prices have gotten out of hand recently and I feel as if the quality has went down as well. I stopped by for lunch today and a Sloppy Joe combo with a regular sized drink was over $12. If I am going to spend that much I will go to a sit down restaurant and eat a better meal for the same price or cheaper. I’ve been a customer for several years but unfortunately I do not think I will be returning anytime soon.
They have a simple menu which results in fast service. Staff is friendly.Changed review to three stars after my recent visit. Decided to dine-in rather than drive-thru and was surprised to discover that they no longer provide refills for dine-in customers. The employee could provide no explanation for why they no longer do refills except to state "he was told he wasn't allowed to". I certainly understand the increase in menu pricing due to raising food costs but if I'm going to pay $26 for two people to eat out, I expect to be able to get a refill. Best advice I can offer is this place is good for grabbing some dogs to take home but if you're expecting to sit and enjoy a meal, go to an actual sit down restaurant where they'll refill your drink because the cup of ice they give you with your combo is just going to leave you feeling thirsty and frustrated.
Oh my. The hot dogs are amazing. The staff are very quick and courteous. You have to eat here.

Stopped here today and Libby in the drive thru was really nice, friendly and fast! You can't beat their combo meal of two hot dogs, fries and large drink. Love their dogs all the way. They have a great drive thru window and they are very fast in the drive thru and always get my orders right. I definitely recommend the Roanoke Weiner Stand No 2!
Best Hotdogs anywhere. Been going to the hotdog stand since Mr. And Mrs. Shackney we're there. As Johnny always said, Who's next, somebody gotta be next. Miss seeing him and Gus. Great hotdogs and fries anywhere.

The best restaurant for hot dogs. I had the combo 2 dogs fries and drink. Restaurant was clean and staff was nice.
Utterly disgusting ? chilli is nasty they only offer chilli mustard and onions what kind of boot leg dog stand is that fries were nasty and flavor lis I make better hot dogs at home honestly I'll never go there again and their drinks are water down
