Yummy Bloody Mary's and fabulous burgers!
When working in Roanoke I decided to try this Red Robin.. usually Red Robin is good but this one lacks both in food quality and service. My burger patty had gristle in it.. and it wasn’t the right burger.. additionally my fries were served cold. I complained but the management offered only a 25% discount.The server asked me if I have a wife or kids, which I think is odd. I said I’m in the area on business, my wife/ child is in North Carolina. The server acted surprised and asked if I am sure. I said of course I’m sure. I asked why they were so concerned about it. They laughed at me.. and they told me “You wish you had a job.” I don’t want to say racism but I think maybe they are. Why else would you tell me I wish I had a job? You don’t even know me.. very odd to say the least. They’re calling me a liar without even knowing me!
Burgers were expensive and small but taste okay. Tables and seats were filthy. They seem to only clean them when someone asks for them to remove the food from them. Floors were filthy. Bathrooms could not have been more disgusting. There were only a few customers there so there is no excuse for this. My first time there is also my last.
Awesome fast service! Ordered online through ActiveMenus on google and it was easy and smooth. Payment process was a snap and pick up was super easy! I arrived at the restaurant at the time the text said my order would be done, went over to the Togo area and they asked for my order number, name, and they brought it right out and went over my order and showed me each item to make sure it was correct! I was in and out in less then 3 mins! And the staff was super nice! This might be my go to for burger night now! Thank you Red Robin for making this smooth and easy! ????
Mediocre. The food was decent but service was horrible in comparison to our last visit. We had to request silverware... My wrap didn't have the sauce it's supposed to have in it so it was very bland. Our server never came to our table after our meal was served to make sure everything was ok; We had to go to the side of the kitchen to ask for things we needed twice. No one cleared dishes from the table when we were clearly done with them. It was obvious that our server was the only bartender for the shift and had several tables too, so ultimately I blame this on 2 things: poor management and short staffing because people have gotten too sorry to work during Covid. Overall a fail and not worth the money this time.

The burgers were okay. This is my second time eating here. The food portions were much smaller than before. They must have had a really busy lunch rush because our server & a manager were tired & not very hospitable. We had to request silverware and napkins. The fries and broccoli portions very really small but we could not get any server to stop by so we could request refills (both sides were free refills). We finally got a refill after we finished our burgers. I do not plan to go back to Red Robin. My husband goes for business lunches and assures me the service and portions are better other times. Sounds like we hit them at an off time.
This was my first time at Red Robin it was a few days after 6 inches of snow. Parts of the parking lot were still ice. The food is good. The music is pretty family friendly. The server we had was polite. For two people to eat without tip is $30.
