Terrible service today! The food was great but our waitress never came back for drink refills. There was another table too! Other waitresses were checking with their tables but when a group came in and was given to our waitress we were forgotten about.
It's not often you remember the people you encounter at a restaurant. I will always remember Britany who is super upbeat, smart, friendly and hilarious. She is definitely my favorite and I will be making sure I see her every time I visit. She is an asset to your team and I do believe your eatery would be shut down without her!
The waitresses are excellent! We have been regulars for the last few years. Today marked a change. The owner or manager (unsure which she is) was cooking and our order wasn’t accurate. When we addressed this with the waitress, she agreed with us that both of our orders seemed to correlate with our complaints. When she approached the lady who made it, she stated she gave us ample amount and that we’d have to pay extra if we wanted to change the order to reflect what we had always ordered in the past. Being that we regularly dine in here, this was a little over the top. Multiple employees seemed very frustrated as well which is not the normal experience we observe for this restaurant. Perhaps the one in charge should consider some public service classes and also step back and take a break so their employees don’t suffer from their bad attitude. This restaurant is usually one of our favorites but will not be frequented in the future if this happens again. Hats off to the waitresses, big thumbs down to management.
We have visited Pete’s Deli about 5 times now in the last year or so and every single time we are impressed with the quality of the food and friendliness of the wait staff! It’s always clean and the staff are SUPER friendly!! Every single time!! Certainly a tucked away gem in the Roanoke valley!!
The food is always good and they give you plenty. I've been going there a couple years now and always enjoy it.
Pete's Deli is FANTASTIC.There is not a better home cooking restaurant in town that is consistantly loaded with FEEL GOOD FOOD!We have been amazed with the portions given and biggest slices of pie we've ever had. My personal favorite is LEMON MERINGUE???
Pete's Deli great place to eat!! We had a club sandwiches and Fries. They were great. The guy that took our order was friendly and very efficient.
Have been going for 40 years,,this was my last visit.. Visit before was so so as well but not like this one. Not so good , table was filthy , tea was horrible and bitter .service was fair .. We both ordered the taco salads, thats when the fun began ...and for both of us , 6 hours of non stop revolving bathroom trips... and ill stop right there .. Couldnt even finish shopping in town, we had to go home... it hit within 30 minutes , and had to stop once before we even got home !! so disappointing .
I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The chicken was tender, hot & fresh!! Home cooked food. Our waitress, Brittany was friendly & checked on us more than once. She also offered to go cups. Thanks again for quick efficient service with a smile!!
Lovely little mom and pop type restaurant. Country steaks are so good and club sandwhiches is very delicious too. Service is quite nice and pleasant to customers. Family goes there quite often.
