I placed an order online, and it said the wait time would be nearly 80 minutes. That was no problem. I was waiting patiently and watching my phone for updates. After about an hour of waiting, it shows that my order was cancelled. I certainly didn’t cancel it. So my wife and I have been sitting here waiting, and then they just take it upon themselves to cancel the order. No phone call, no text message, no email. Now no one will even answer the phone. This place is useless as far as I’m concerned. Spend your money elsewhere.
If I could give zero, I would. On any given night, Mon- Thur it will take 1.5 hours for ONE pizza. Not the mention the grub hub driver will deliver a pizza that is PAST your house before they drop off your cold pizza. I know people don’t won’t to work, and gas prices are high so this job is not for everyone. But if it takes you 1.5-2 hours to deliver a pizza 2 miles away, there’s a problem. The only reason I choose delivery is to support the people willing to work a delivery job! But that may not continue to happen! I also try to call but after 15 minutes on hold, I gave up.
They forgot the drink in my order today. The manager lady said "we are slammed right now" and that it would be 25 minutes til someone can bring it. It's been an hour now and no drink. That was on top of the order taking longer than they said it would.I made the mistake of tipping the driver Jennifer 20%. Won't make that mistake again. I watched the driver on the app and it didn't say anything about a delivery before mine but it took her 20 minutes when it's half that time for other drivers. Order from a local restaurant instead.
This Papa's seems to be completely different than the other locations in Roanoke, definitely lacking.
It’s been over 2 hours and the order from the app still says it’s being prepared. No one is answering the phone to cancel the order or get more information for the past hour. It’s past midnight now so even calling, the message just says that they’re closed. Are customers supposed to stay up all night hoping that a food order might show up?And for corporate, they need to add a cancellation option to their app or actually keep track of how behind orders are at a specific store so customers can make the choice of wanting to wait or not.Definitely not ordering from this store and probably not from Papa John’s anytime soon. Terrible!
They wouldn't answer the phone when my friend waited on the phone 20 mins to add a pizza but the pizza we did get was really great & it was ready when I got there. Cashier was really sweet and also offered me plates and napkins which was really handy.
Ima give it a solid 4 mainly because my delivery driver was cool made sure all my food was right even got the right suace yall should give that boy a raise
Be careful at this place the boss makes a worker come in today after knowing the person husband has covid so they are spreading the sickness mask or not
My garlic parmesan wings were juicy & fresh. The pepperoni & mushroom pizza was also hot & fresh!!! Happy customer!!! Thank you!!
I placed an order online at 5:09pm. It is now 7:30pm and no pizza. My email said 35 mins!! I have called 3 times. The first time i waited 10 mins and hung up. The second time i waited 9 and someone hung up on me. This time ive been waiting 20 mins!!! I have already fed my kids somwthing else! I understand short staffed but this is ridiculous!!! We love papa johns but i will no longer order it from here!!
