This was the first time to celebrate my birthday at Oliver Garden. Food was great, staff was friendly.I found little uncomfortable thing, after the waitress leading us to the table, I found the coach was so wet ... I requested something to clean and dry before I could sit down..June 1st, 2022Last visit was my birthday in April, I have no idea I went there today. I felt surprised for a young man was so absent minded for j requested to have some napkin Three times but he still didn't bring it. I mentioned it before we left! Nothing I can say!!!!!Be safe!
Raven is absolutely the best server I ever had here!! The food came on time and hot! Raven had such an amazing personality! I truly felt like they cared about me and my dining experience! Went above and beyond! I will definitely come back and request raven to be my server!My husband and I came a week after Valentine's Day and it was awful I mean the worst experience ever. Apps never came food was cold. We're swore we weren't coming back.But I'm glad we did this time and thankful we got raven. They definitely changed our minds about Olive Garden and definitely recommending them to all my friends and family members.I also encourage whoever is reading this to ask for Raven! You will have the best experience ever!
I believe I have spoken on this location prior; still a great choice for you and your family to go too. Great food, service and menu. I decided to look at other things that might be of interest such as three of us ate for around 30 dollars for lunch. This included their salad, breadsticks and we drank water. Great deal. Definitely could spend more but if need too can enjoy a less expensive meal. Checked for handicapped accessibility: has a ramp right beside parking spots. Has a bathroom stall, plus sinks at a good height to wash hands. To add to this, had a changing table plus stool to lower under sink for young kids to reach.
The soups! Ahh so good!The best items on the menu, in my opinion.But you really can't go wrong with anything, depending on your tastes.Kids enjoyed the spaghetti, of course.And the cheese ? being ground before their eyes!We will be back soon!
Food is always great here and the service is usually amazing except when it’s not. Waiting over an hour on a supposed to be 30 minute wait because the workers can’t check you in like they are supposed too. I understand it being Mother’s Day and a wait isn’t the problem, it’s the double the wait because we weren’t sent our text message to come in.
The food and service was typical Olive Garden, nothing special but good food and the service was quick and effiecent.
We used the online "add to waitlist" option because it was a Saturday night and there are 7 of us, one being an 18 month old who does not wait well. After I filled out the form online, I got my confirmation text: "(1/2) Olive Garden - Roanoke - Valley View Mall: You are on our list! Your estimated wait is 15 - 20 minutes. Please arrive on time and check in with the host. (2/2) We will hold your spot for 10 minutes past your estimated wait time." We get there within the allotted time, we are told we aren't actually added to the wait list until we get there. I said, "That is not what the text says" and I show them the text. They said, "the text doesn't say that but that's how it works." Completely not even caring that the website clearly says one thing and they do a completely other thing. They told the 2 people in front of us their wait was an hour and told me ours was 35 minutes, probably just to placate me. We left. But had very disappointed children because it was 3 of their birthday dinners. I don't ever want to go back.
Pleasant staff. Steak was very well seasoned and tender. Angel hair pasta with meat sauce was also tasty. Their salad is always a favorite with us.
I had not been to Olive Garden in over a decade. Was not impressed. Scampi was bland, at best. Appetizer, salad, meal timing felt very rushed; not enough time to finish one before the next is at the table. We had a gift card; only reason we went. Good reminder that chain restaurants are not our thing. It's back to supporting locally grown restaurants with culinary expertise.
I've been to this location of Olive garden several times each time is a different experience. This time the waitress was very courteous and super helpful. I love all the garden and it is a delight to eat there anytime.
