Mission BBQ is a fabulous place. Every day at 12noon, everyone stops, salutes, and sings the National Anthem. We rushed in just in time to be a part of this. Photos of veterans are up on the walls, along with the Soldier's Creed.Did I mention the food and service? This BBQ is some of the best we've ever had (and we've had BBQ in many states). The coleslaw, potato salad, the Oreo pudding....everything was awesome. The staff was very attentive and courteous. If we lived in Roanoke and weren't just visiting from out of state, this would be our regular spot to eat. Well done, Mission BBQ, and thank you!!!

Mission BBQ catered our work picnic. The team of 3 young adults at our event were EXCEPTIONAL. I mean they really went the extra mile. They were so professional, personable and the food was amazing as well. The set up was top notch. Highly recommend.

Just absolutely delicious! Brisket is divine, then add the leftover brisket pieces on the Mac with the southern belle bbq sauce and enjoy ? and that peach cobbler is as good as grandma! Go in at noon and enjoy the show of respect to our service men and women!

Service was fast, portions were generous. I had pulled pork and baked beans, both were good, the Memphis Belle is the sweet sauce. Tupelo Honey Heat is a little hot. My husband got the half a yard bird. Be aware this has a spice on it that doesn't seem hot at first, but sneaks up and has an after bite that stays with you. The chicken itself was tender and juicy but the spice on the outside was too much. I would recommend a note on the menu with a caution for those who cannot eat spicy food.

First time tasting and the flavor was amazing!! Visiting from SC

We had a great dinner here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. We chose to take-out only because of our schedules but would have been nice to eat in!

This place was great. It was packed and they still got us quick. It was pricey for just me and my boyfriend but it was worth every penny after we tried the meat. We had the meat sampler with pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. With Mac and cheese and fries which were both great.

Ordered the pulled chicken. It wasn't warm throughout but still delicious. The green beans were delicious. The cornbread on the side is almost like a desert. The interior is neat because it you can learn about some services that you may not have heard of before by looking at the decorations.

quick great food, great Mac n cheese, awesome sauces on the table, the TN was my favorite, amazing sweet tea. if you love your country and veterans, this place is perfect.

So first time trying this place and went in thinking this would be city barbeque or better. Well, it's not even city barbeque. I got the brisket and seemed like a tender pot roast with what ever the Memphis Bell sauce was. None of the 6 sauces where great but a couple had very in unique flavors. I tried that with my wife's dry chicken and bun. The chicken had more flavor than the brisket which I guess is a point for the chicken. The bun was dry and dense which didn't help the chicken I used their honey and heat barbecue sauce(no heat..green beans had more) which I found the best other than the A1 sauce collaboration. So on to the sides and why they got 3 stars. Well it's not their dry Jiffy corn mix. Their mac and cheese was very good and their green beans where one of best I have had. I honestly wanted to rate worse. My recommendations are seasoning things and not overcooking them and maybe try smoke out. Also if you're going to make sauces ...they should have tons of flavor for your unseasoned meats.
