Stopped in as we passed on our road trip, got here in the quiet hours of a spring morning right when they opened.Friendly, happy staff, good pastries, great coffee, and a clean bathroom ?Can’t ask for much more — thank you!Definitely recommend.
First time at this location, hazelnut pump + bitter drip coffee tasted like whiskey flavor. Threw away after 3 sips. Was only warm coffee too. Nice customer service though!
First time trying coffee at this location. Only one employee working, and he did a great job handling all the customers! My coffee hit the spot :)
The downtown crowd is a trip. This photo was taken years ago and I've found that all the things you hear about coffee shop crowds aren't necessarily true. I can't think of anything good to say about the place except they never threw me out.
Had a cappuccino. It was mediocore. And expensive. Maybe their traditional coffees are better, but I was less than impressed with this espresso-based drink. Don't live in Roanoke, so not sure when I'll be in these parts next, but I'm not going out of my way to give this place another shot.
Great staff my only draw back is the hours, used to be a great spot to get coffee but due to the pandemic they have less hours. Coffee is so top notch though.
A couple of colleagues took me here for breakfast while I was in town, and I was super impressed at the overall experience. I had oatmeal with craisins and walnuts, which was super good, and my black tea was freshly brewed. The staff were very pleasant, and it's a nice place to sit and relax, socialize, and/or work.
I'm sure it used to be great but the selection was pathetic. Pastries looked store bought. At some point just closing the doors and walking away might be best. Coffee was ok, help was great. Pastry was a joke. Maybe hire another person to help out too. One person working is cruel.
The coffee is good but after seeing them being so rude and short to one of their potential customers I can't say I would want to go back.
