It was my first and, believe me, last time there. 2 stars, be happy with that. Where to start? I was OK with the service. The service and rolls were the ONLY reasons I gave it 2 stars. The server we had was very polite and courteous and did his best to make sure we were waited on, but he was spread so thin that he couldn't help every table he had. Now for the food ???? I ordered a New York Strip and I'm pretty sure it was something lab created. I have had a lot of steaks at different restaurants and this was by far the worst. The texture was like soft tinder, tender something. I know for damn sure it wasn't a cow that came from. I hope the people that left these 5 stars had something better than steak, and must have left their reviews before they ate the food.
The service was great! The environment was a bit chilly but it's summer so I guess that's fine. The appetizer was incredibly salty(fried pickles, fried jalapenos and fried onion rings), we expected some saltines due to everything being fried but it was a bit much. I got mashed potatoes for a side that were also incredibly salty and rather bland, along with "premium" Mac and cheese that was just Velveeta noodles. My long island ice tea was drinkable, but for a beverage that consists of 5 shots of a liquor and a shot of coke, it sure did feel deluded. All in all, 2 stars because the wait staff was great.
I am sad to have to change my review of this restaurant. I have been coming here monthly for over 3 years with a bunch of friends, and its been amazing.After our dedicated server Ro left, service has been severely lacking. Tonight was the third time in a row that our service has taken over 2 hours to order and eat a meal, and an extra half hour to get our bills. We were willing to give it another try figuring the first two times were a fluke, but after 3 times in a row of similar service, it is apparent that this is their new normal. Half of our group mentioned incorrect or cold food, but ate it anyway because they didn't want to wait any longer. Our server tonight took it upon herself to remove the charges for our appetizers off of our bill because she felt bad about how long things were taking. We appreciated that gesture.I understand restaurants are still struggling with lack of inventory, and staffing shortages. This is why we kept coming back in hopes things would improve, but they are not.Our group will most likely be looking for an alternate meeting place. Sad to say it, because this location worked really well for us in the past.
If possible I would leave negitive stars. Ordered two meals through a delivery site. Ordered medium steak received a very well done steak. Ordered chicken tender meal for my 34yo wife got a kids meal. This is only the second time in 4 years I have eaten here and both time were absolutely horrible experiences. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN
Waited 20 minutes to order once seated. Waitress didn't want to be there. Didn't give any updates on the food. Pretty sure I got sirloin instead of a NY strip. I'm not stopping here next time through Roanoke.
My experience here was good. My waiter was very professional and honest. I didn't really enjoy the food. But all in all. I enjoyed my time.
Worst experience ever this evening. Took 22 min to get salads then my meal was prepped wrong and my husband was done eating and my meal was still not back out. Told them just to take it off ticket. Will not be going back there
Terrible customer service. I have been calling for FOUR days to speak with a manager and I keep getting hung up on. My bill before tip was $57.53, I left a $6 tip making it $63.53. I checked my bank statement and it seems our waitress added a few more dollars to her pocket, charging me $66.53.I cannot get ahold of anyone local so I guess I will have to go to cooperate. I'm not happy, my husband ordered. Steak, salmon and kids meals. This is what we got. I don't know if this is from leftovers from other people's food. But this is ridiculous!! I traveled across the country and this is my disappointment food I've ever ordered so far.
All of the family got sick from foods, those foods is not done, they has no favors, just plain. Some foods has hair on foods. We got bad vomiting and diarrhea, we got poison foods from them, we will never going back to Logan’s roadhouse again ever!!!!
