Pizza was good,was alittle surprised that the crust was as good as it was real close to real New York pizza that i would get back home in NYC. Sauce was lite on taste but pretty good overall a good pie.also had the Italian hero that was the very disappointing part for $10 i could get a better sandwich at subway i know sandwiches working in New York deli’s that being said i would order pizza again. Just don’t understand 6:15 Saturday evening 2 people in the restaurant they do need to work on the help that seem lost
We just had the best Chicago style pizza in the area! It was delicious and the service was on point! We will be back!

The service was incredibly slow so they're obviously understaffed but it took awhile for the waitress to even acknowledge our group. The food was memorable only because the margherita pizza was missing the tomato and basil toppings and there was a chunk of green pepper inside the canoli icing. I will not be visiting this restaurant a second time.
nice cold beer, good pizza, calzone and cheese steak! Need to take down curtains in front and make more inviting so people can see in when driving through lot
My family and I love Lago Pizza. I do not know why the ratings are what they are. We just moved here from Dallas where we had a pizza joint on every corner and Lago's blows them away. The crust is just crunchy enough to hold the toppings, but still has a tender center on the crust edge. You can tell it's made in house because it actually has flavor. They also use REAL cheese. Like the stringy, slightly oily, real cheese that is supposed to be used on a pizza. The price is right too. Especially considering the size. A medium here is like a large at other places. We love it. Give them a chance.
Finally got a place in Roanoke that make good pie! Had the opportunity to get out and enjoy this place after a recommendation from a friend. Awesome environment, good selection of sandwiches, pizzas, and other pasta dishes. But man o man the Chicago Deep Dish! I got the meat lovers. I'm not even going to say anymore. Just go by!
Very small sandwiches for the price. They sell subs but they only put the option of a wrap or a round bun. No sub rolls. When I entered, there was a scene between a worker and a delivery driver that was very uncomfortable. What appeared to be a owner was a little abrasive. $20 for two small sandwiches is not worth it. They do include chips but it's a $0.20 bag of utz chips. Overall I would not go back. The sandwiches are the cheapest on the menu, but the prices go up from there and honestly the price point is quite a deterrent for what you get.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was disappointed. The garlic knots that came with the salad were unique and superb. The spinach calzone was excellent, except that the bottom was so thin that the whole thing fell apart. Eggplant parm. dinner were two hefty eggplant cutlets that were under cooked and tough. It and the spaghetti side sat in the spaghetti water. A take out Chicago pizza had bled through the whole bottom of the box for want of a piece of aluminum foil under the pizza. This place lacks quality control. I feel bad because I know they all work hard!
First time I tried to order delivery they called back and said they didn't have a driver that day.Second time I tried to order it went thru the wrong store. So when I went to pick up it wasn't there and I had to wait another 45 minutes. The pretzel tasted burnt and the cheese was ice cold. The garlic knots were great but they forgot my red sauce. The garlic parm wings were spicey, odd. The NY style pizza (tomato and broccoli) was delicious.Third time I ordered they delivered 30 minutes. Pretzel was much better and the cheese was actually warm. However, you don't need so much cheese so they could cut the size and cost. The chicken tender and fries app, the chicken was over cooked and the fries were tossed in spices and not plain, I would have opt for no fries had I known that. Same NY style pizza with tomato and broccoli, was even better this time , less golden which i enjoy. But I did get all my side sauces that I paid for.
