You would think a grocery store would make an attempt at getting rid of foul smells, but this Kroger is the nastiest smelling grocery store I've been to. Now they have the audacity to charge extra for paper bags (I assume they cost more than plastic so they want to discourage people from running up their bag budget by trying to avoid the plastic bag tax) Please use some of that extra bag money and try to find and solve the source of the foul smell in your store.
We got here 15 minutes before close and they refused to let us in. They had an employee standing at the door (Thomania) refusing to let anyone in. An older woman just needed to buy food for her dogs and they didn’t let her in. I needed a thanksgiving cake, not even 5 minutes, and wasn’t allowed entry.The manager (James) came out. I asked if they closed at 5pm, he said “yes but today we’re not letting anyone in after 4:45”.
Great employees but not 5 stars because of being out something as basic as cranberry sauce Walmart had it
If I could get zero stars, I would. I ordered $160 dollars worth of groceries online for pickup. My card has been charged for this amount, but apparently Kroger doesn't keep up with inventory and nothing is actually in stock. My final total ended up being around $90 and the refund for the rest of what they didn't have will take 3-7 business days.
This store closes randomly whenever. They could be open until 11 or they could close way before then with a sign on the door. Waste of gas. Very poorly run Kroger. Website is inaccurate. No consideration for customers.
On November 5, 2021 I went to the Kroger location at 5050 Rutgers St. Roanoke, VA to use the customers women's restroom. The customer's womens restroom had a paper sign on it stating it was CLOSED. I told an associate named Reva at the self-checkout about the women's restroom being closed. Reva directed me to use the employee bathroom in the rear of the store. I did. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE--It was obvious that the restroom was not CLOSED due to being cleaned. On Monday, November 8, 2021 I will report this to the local Health Department.
Money transfer service closed at 6:50pm on Thursday 11/4 while supposed to be closed at 11pm according to store hours.
I just have one question. There supposed to close at 11pm. Are they allowed to start locking the door at 10:45pm? I work 2nd shift and can't get here until about a quarter till 11pm but they have started locking the doors early now.
This store is the worst! Dont try and use there money services. No one is EVER working it and the employees are rude when you ask about it. If I could rate negative stars I would.
At dinner time I like to swing by and get items for home.Great staff !!
