I love the ice cream and great variety plus staff is always very nice and fast!!

This place has been here ever since I was a kid :) They serve a bunch of different flavors of Hershey ice cream. They also have an assortment of candy and ty beanie baby merchandise. The indoor seating always stays cool, but there is also seating outside.
When we lived in Roanoke, we'd go all the time! Now that we're farther away, it's more difficult, but my grandmother suggests it every time she's here. She loves Katie's because they had some sort of mint flavor (I think it was peppermint? Been a while, wasn't chocolate mint chip though) all year round.
I stopped here on a whim and I'm glad I did. The ice cream is amazing! They also have frozen yogurt. It's a great place to stop for a treat.
Me and family decided get ice cream. Milkshakes me and my wife got were frozen not mixed and hard to drink. Oh my mistake that's one me and my wife got from Sonic the one my kids wanted on way home looked awesome and they said this is their new go to spot now. We definitely will be going here more. Alot of options and great selection of ice cream.
